I have close to 4000 points of Catachans (not that I ever run more than 1750 per game)
I like collecting and painting more than I like playing games bigger than Kill Team. IMO, nothing beats Kill Team.

It's the same with me, I'm not in it for the gaming although one day when I have the time I would like to get the rules down so I can become a potential player.

I'm in it for the art mostly - painting and the customizing side to it. It's fun and gives me a sense of achievement once the minis have been properly painted.

I'm going to double check with hq builder again as I think I've left some things out and then post the score on here as an update to my last reading

Honestly, I don't know. There was one day a number of years ago when I started to make a list, but I filled a page and hadn't even gotten through two boxes of them and I was like, "Feth it, I'd rather start over from scratch in case something happens to the house than go through all my stuff," because my hands were already hurting because I've done a ton more typing than writing since 2004. I can type all day now, but my hands suck at writing. I was also demotivated when my dad informed me that they'd need to know how much it was when I bought it, and since I've been playing since 2001 and have no idea what I bought when...

Why don't you try and use an auto list builder too like hq builder to save time. Just click and select so it does the hard work for you. At least it gives you an average if not 100%. It's pretty simple.

If there would be none Force Organization then:

dark apostle = 105

chaos lord (p.sword,plasma pistol) = 95

36 cultists(3 heavier weapons,some autoguns) = 153

21 chaos marines(2x plasma 1xmelta 1xIconOfVenegeace) = 348

10 bloodleters = 100

5 possesed = 130

hellbrute = 105

5 terminators with magnetyzer arms +1 with lighting claws = 195 up

So without marks and other less detail it would be Somthing about 1231 up Chaos.
And still none of them ever was in battle :(

I have got 3500 of Dark Angels with around 750 points Imperial Guard from the old codex before they updated, so I'm not sure with the Imps now.

Lists are all looking great. If you do have the time to use hq builder to add up the math it will be much better and clearer to visualize the power of your armies especially those of you without pics. Keep em coming

Tell me about it and welcome to my problem. But the goods news of hard searching and outstanding patience I managed in a year to gain loads of sm squads which probably accumulated to around 3500 points alone for under 100 quid. The rest in boxes are what I actually paid for which come to about 150-200 if you include all paints and brushes etc. so all in all 5000+ points with around 300 smackers. Not bad id say but again was a lot of late nights bidding over a year period

I've got some tanks cheap 2nd hand, like 40 for a land raider n a top quality rhino, both with forge world extras + black templers upgrade parts.

Local gaming shop has some good 2nd hand stuff for sale :-)

That's a good deal for a lot of marines, there plentyful, but so many are overpriced to hell. People over bid to point you might as well buy new at those prices,

only got into this hobby bout a year and a bit ago so I think I have a bit of a problem since I've got roughly 3000-4000 points each of space wolves, nids, tau and I've just started some blood angels which I've got 10 man tac squad, 5 assault marines, 10 death company , 5 devastators and mephy.

I guess you would call it a collection rather than an army (or maybe a labour of love

) but I do play with many of the units so here goes...

I have, basically every Eldar figure released by GW since the Space Elves of RT04 up to the present day, often in multiples of the same figure (I have 3 jetbike Autarchs for example) including some of the rarer ones such as the Bonesinger and Necromunda Farseer.

I've got all the different iterations of the Aspect Warriors, usually in multiple squads of each iteration (except for the poor old Warp Spiders), and somewhere around 60 plastic guardians, not to mention all the chain-mail knickered metal ones.

My first Craftworld was Iyanden so I have a fair few Wraiths including the new plastics but also 15 metal Guard and 8 metal Wraithlords in various configurations.

As far as vehicles go I have 6 Wave Serpents, 3 Falcons, 2 Fire Prisms and sadly only 6 War Walkers (including the original metal ones).

As far as FW goes I've got most of the stuff that came out along with IA11 except for some reason a Warp Hunter (no idea why I havent picked one up) and I sadly cant stretch to a Phantom Titan or any of the other super-heavies/flyers, but I have got 6 Wasp assault walkers

I have no idea of the points value of the whole army, I do try to work it out from time to time but usually give up somewhere about Fast Attack lol.
