having a bunch of models just means we all lacked self control. A loto f the ire at GW isn't because they F'd it up. Its because WE spent all this money and feel robbed. Well, some of us do. if your collection is big enough you can just trade for the crap ya need. =)

I also have a fairly small army of Tau. I was waiting almost two years to start them, I wanted to wait for the new Codex before buying any models, so I'm not one of those bandwagoners!

I'll be expanding both forces as I go along, but I feel like I need to buff my Tau a bit before buying more CSM.

I have so many points because I want to play with that many points. i feel like 2000 points is a skirmish. Wars are fought at 10K+. I Like how the warhammer 40k saying is "In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war" when it should be In the grim darkness of the far future there are only skirmishes" because that's what size of games everyone plays. I wish I could see all of my models on the field at the same time but in this tiny city of 70,000 people not many can match the point value that i have with just a single army. I also don't have any allies. 12,000 points of pure Eldar. Bring it on.

Last census for my orks was 80,000 pts or so, but I've sold some of my old stuff since then.

About 3000 in nurgle daemons

Maybe 7 or 8000 in DE.

Blood angels. About 10k. Been gathering them since last year.

Used to have a few grand of nids, DE, and dark angels in 3rd edition.

As for the BA:

All the named characters, 25 sanguinary guard, about 50 Assault marines, 40 tacticals, 6 scouts, 4 bikes, 5 devastators, 5 honour guard, 20 termies, a tech marine, 3 libbies, 2 chaplains, 4 priests, 20 death company.
Vehicles: 2 storm ravens, 4 land raiders, 3 predators, 6 rhino/razorbacks, 1 Baal pred, 8 dreadnoughts, a WIP scratch built thunder hawk, and an imperial knight.
And one ADL with quad gun.

I remember them well.

I have a bunch of old school guardians and dire avengers and harlequins as well. I also have 30 metal wraithguard in there. I now have 24 Hawks, 16 fire dragons,10 warp spiders,4 heavy weapons platforms, Bharroth phoenix lord, fuegan phoenix lord, 3 vypers, 3 fire prisms, a towering destroyer titan, and an old armorcast scorpion tank added since that picture was taken.

I'm afraid the majority of my army is currently rocking the "matte black primer" camouflage scheme. I can field about 1000 painted points. I only recently discovered I actually like painting, and don't have my models with me at college, so I don't get much work done.

I'm 100% sure someone can out-do me here (in fact I hope a better picture comes up soon) but this is an awful cell phone picture of what I put up for the last 1500 point game I played. It's all been primered and the barricuda is slightly closer to done now.

I just have an awful time deciding on color schemes. I mean the basic 3 colors are figured out by this point, but deciding what color to paint witch panel is kinda a nightmare. Curse you Tau and your segmented armor...

meh. Pick one and go. I mean honestly unless its gonna be a golden Daemon project, do your favorite colors...because they're...your favorites!

All my tau that are built, are painted.

I have one tigershark, and another skyray in my queue, and once I get them done, I will post up an army pic.

It has taken a long time, but I try to keep at it....one model (or squad) at at time.

I should have my nids finished by summer, and will get a big pic of them as well.

Love all the army pics others are putting up.

Great stuff keep them lists rolling in guys it's looking interesting so far knowing who has what. I'm hoping in about a week I will have pictured all my figures in there un- glorious form as they are still in waiting for painting.

Again they are looking and sounding cool everyone. The sound of them lists just makes me wonder how many thousands have been spent

ok everyone....i managed to unwrap my painfully well wrapped minis (which i had saved in a secret stash waiting to be painted) and after 3 hours of bubble wrap removing i took some decent pics of what my army consists off.

As pictured in the forum i have 18 well painted blood angels (tactical marines) and a about a hundred other unpainted / badly painted by others minis waiting for me to bring them up to standard.

Hopefully in a few hours i will have these pics up here for you to check out. Just for the record the only official new items i have ever bought from GW are still in there boxes. Everything else you see as an ready made mini have been picked up through ebay over about 2 years of hard searching
