Ok this months proof pic - this was already painted so have primered over it to start afresh!

Some nice looking entries already! Should have a wip up soon, I've decided to concentrate on just 3 models to see how I get on with a view to entering 5.

I'll update this post with my proof picture when I get home tonight, going to be doing an Ork Trukk for this entry. Will be my first finished vehicle, looking forward to the challenge.

Yeah, sure! The contest is primarily a painting one, so convert away and enter it whenever a suitable theme comes up!

i just photograph everything now so i can enter anything that is relevant. my nightlord in the first comp had been finished for about 3 weeks before i entered it.

I’m the same way. I normally snap an in progress build picture or two for my blog, and normally one when I finish glueing everything together and send it off to the “to-prime” box. When I get a clear day to break out the rattlecan of primer, often the camera will show up as well.

Once it’s all ready for paint, the minis move over to the bench to glare at me and make rude gestures for weeks/months/years until I get around to slapping some color on.

The autach I’m doing this month had his parts cut from the sprue about a year and a half ago, finally assembled 2-ish months ago, and primed 3 weeks ago.

...I should probably get moving on painting now...

Since I am stupid, I think it shall be my entry. I don't know how to fix my lightbox pictures yet though... they always seem washed out.

So all my LRs started in this color or in a god awful Crimson Fist undercoat that is nigh impenetrable. They all had to be undercoated black, including my entry.

The base is next. I'm excited. I was going to go for a grey slate tile but, I think I might go for a green glass type tile as seen in Phutarf's cathedral.

Epic scale seems to picking up a bit recently, it's good to see! Love painting all the really tiny stuff, wish I'd gone for some goodies for my word bearers epics now. Seeing everybody else's posts is inspiring to do all my other projects, rather than the one I'm supposed to be painting for this comp!

I'll add pics when I get home, but I'll pledge my other 5 SOB Seraphim. Fast, and I guess all SOB count as furious.

Everything so far has looked awesome guys, I get the feeling the end thread is going to be jaw dropping.
