Deepstriking from reserve, maybe turbo Boosting from the edges, if they come on different turns it's actually better for me. they're easily capable of not only getting under your void shields and carapace weapon (so your apocalypse Missile Launcher means nothing) but they also put you at the risk of being damaged by your own weapons and getting blasted in the back

For one thing the rough riders hit with str 6 and I5 (I think it is str6 No Codex here) on first charge. also they are power weapons. Also, your math hammering is pointless. i would bet money that not one of the things you said would happen in a real game.

naw mate, you get S6 and I6 when you use Mogul Kamir, in which case the unit still costs less than the Tactical Marines
in which case it'll go down like this

9 Bolters= 4

4 Laspistols= 0.22
1 Bolt Pistol= 0.08
1 Meltagun= 0.42
(I just found out they lose thier Hunting Lance when you give them a special weapon, i.e. the Meltagun)
Rider without Lance= 0.11
4 Hunting Lances= 3.33
Mogul Kamir= 2.5
Total= 6.66 (so 7)

Surviving Marines Retaliate (including Sergent)= 1.48

Results
Marines= 3 Surviving Models
Rough Riders= 5 Surviving Models
Marines FLEE!
