(rab) (what was that ! about??) Your javelins punch home in several of the shadows and one or two Dark elfs collapse into view but the rest slik back and fire razor sharp disks at you from some kind of fiendish contraptions

(proto) the pain of this finally makes her pass out

Time to put on a Burst of Speed. (Hint, skill, hint)

i got it i got it

you dodge the disks amazingly and manage to impale two more of the assassins, the rest flee

I search bodies, looting anything I can carry and taking it back to the clients room.

i take her to a safe place then leave her with some suplies then i go to the guild

(proto)you leave her in one of your safe houses, upon reaching the guild several of the other dark elves wolf whistle, clearly news spreads fast

(rab) You find lets say 6 wrist crossbows and a couple of daggers

**Rabtorian**

(Can I use the crossbows?) I attatch the two daggers to my belt. They might come in handy, especially when they are sword sized compared to me.

the wrist cross bows are too awkward for you to use, you can carry a couple of them back to your room

Well, back at the room I begin to fiddel with them, hoping to make them into some kind of one-shot traps.

(proto) he still isnt available but the same man you talked to before congratulates you and gives you your reward, a touchbrand tattoo of the guild and a sack of 150 coin

(rab) you more than succed, you discover how to fire them and create tripwire traps that will frie everytime they are activated until the magazine runs dry

I set them up at the entrance to the inn for laughs(Kidding)

I decide that personnal safety is far better than money and leave the client unless he can persuade me otherwise (Lotsa $$$$$$$$$). If he cannot, I look for another job by listening to the town crier. If he can, I stay in the room and wait.

(proto) gives you a charisma and stealth bonus but also binds you to the guild, ie you can only have one

(rab) the client doesnt seem to have enough money and you kick him out of the room, the town crier doesnt have any jobs today

Relaxing in the room I seem to have aquired from the client(?....XD!) I decide to relax whilst also eating to my hearts content on his tab.

(lol) the next day rolls around with casual ease, you find yourself bored with nothing to do

I need help, I left on my mission to aid the brother of our guild named Silentsong, I reached the city and succeeded in my mission, however upon leaving the city I found myself being pursued by daemons, i send this now with a shadow couriour in the hope that it gets to the guild before it is to late, i can hear them closing in

If the town crier still hasn't got any jobs, I decide to go hunting.

Beneath it is a description of a mission report relating to Silentsong and Sister Noria you look over it and get a better idea of where she would be.

(rab) the crier does indeed have a job, he picks you out of the crowd and beckons you over, "theres been a warrent issued to search for your previous client, and when it was completed he was found dead in an alleyway this morning, anouther warrent has been issued to search for the killer, its a pretty hefty reward, (300 coin)

I go to the alley that the client was killed in. (CSI mode...ACTIVE)

While I wait outside the libary, I begin to look around the area i'm in. It seems to be very old and has many decrotive patterns carved into the stone. I start looking at them wondering if they mean anything. They look random but, as I look closer, a pattern begins to emerge, some of the symbols, every six symbols or so, seems to resemble letters from an ancient language I once worked on. I only know some of the letters as it was only one document. I don't know what it might mean but if it does i'm sure I will be able to decipher it eventually...

As I begin to work on the problem something returns to me. A distant memory seemingly brought back by looking at the strange symbols. I can begin to read the first part. It said:

Alot of the letters have been worn away over years of erosion and some are totaly alien to me. I can understand this part but, seemingly, someone has removed the rest of the message leaving it untraceable, unless it is writen somewhere else...
