I pay him and thank him for his troubles. I then begin to think. I am not a well known bodyguard, but was a replacement for one who fell sick. I didn't even know much about my client, or even what sort of importance he had. I need details. I am new to this town, and am not even a proper bodyguard. More of a freebooting bandit. If I can find some way of showing that to the assassains, I am sure that I will be left alone.

(Proto) "Then you have completed the contract, we will not aid you in this womans protection, however you may do as you see fit, as long as it does not threaten the brotherhood we will not oppose you and your brother sttus is not in jeapordy"

(Rab) you get out of the way just in time as the deeath contaptions explode spewing shrapnel everywhere

As I watch the remains of their army flee the battlefield I know that they will only return, prehaps stronger than before. Because of this I decide to go to the libary, a great city like this must have some magical knowlege stashed away somewhere. All I have to do is find it...

once you depart the wall you see two powerful knights conversing with the dwarf you saw,

As I walk past, I glance towards the dawrf. They seem to be disscussing somthing intently so I decide not to interupt. I then continue my way to the libary.

the dwarf nods politely but he too continues with the conversation, as you reach the library you hear voices inside, and when you try to open the doors you find them locked

I wonder what's happening inside the libary. I press my ear against doors but can't make out what they are saying. I knock on the door and await an answer. Afer a few minuites witout an answer I knock again and hear footsteps walking towards the doors...

wait but first im gonna check in the secret room

you open the door to the secret room and the sight makes your jaw drop, hundreds and hundreds of sheafs of parchment line the walls and after a brief examination you see the writs of promise of hundreds of dark elf politicians agreeing to support the late victim but in the center of the room there is an exquisitly carved handsword, the type you have seen the dragoran mercaneries use, long and curved with a distinct square tang that balances the blade of many-folded steel perfectly. The length of the weapon however has been shorteded to the point where it would comfortably fit over a the back of the wielder

i remove the darts
