Where do you purchase you bitz from? I can't find any Bitz on ebay, and Bitzbarn is out of stock on a few things unfortunately

Thanks buddy, the pauldrons are from the Dragon Ogre Kit, I ordered them ages ago. I've started to GS the Alpha as well but not a lot to show there yet. I'm hoping to work on him a little later tonight.

Not been able to work on a lot lately (story of my life, there's also 101 other things to take my attention away from the hobby) but have started knocking together another squad of Zerkers, not enough progress to show but I'm quite happy with how the Skull Champ is coming on. On another note I really got the urge to paint some terrain today. I dug out the other 3rd edition ruin I primed a while back. Have a look and let me know what you think.

Anyway, skull champion's already looking excellent! That's the skull mask of the plastic chaplain, isn't it?

Ruin's looking very cool as well, although I'd have painted the streetlight light blue, for that eerie St.Elmo's Fire look

Kraut aside from an interesting reaction when I primed the Titan base and it dissolved all the polystyrene on it nothing's ruined Rest easy brother. As for more kitbashes, take a look.

First an update on the Gorehounds base, not as far along with detailing as I'd hoped but had to wait on the filler drying.

While waiting on that I revisited Warpsmith Zephon and messed with him a little.



Also looked at a slightly different mount on the Obliterator conversion. Using one of the Valkyries heavy bolter pintle mounts.

Really nice work on both the models and the base....loving the aggresive pose of the obliterator, very menacing And the warpsmith is great too. Where does his helmet come from??

You've got some awesome World Eaters here bro. I like the beginning of the obliterator conversion - he's going to look great when he's done.

The bloodthirster is spot on - I like him as is and wouldn't add the tongue.

Quick update, did a little rough GS on the Alpha Brute and tried adding some of Subtle Discords trim to the first Oblit to see how it looks. I like the chunky feel it gives but looking for some more opinions before doing the other leg.

Thanks guys, sorry for the lack of updates lately. Had a lot to deal with not least of which is finding out I'm going to be a father!!! So as you can imagine hobby time has taken a sligh backseat to r/l as we deal with changing my man-cave into a plausible space for a nursery.

I do hope to have some work done in the next couple of days but as usual I wouldn't hold your breath. I will say the Oblit now has trim on both lower greaves and I really like it. Trying to figure out a way of detailing the gauntlets without going OTT.

I do have a couple of pics. Nothing spectacular or never seen before but I did add the trim to the other leg on Oblit 1 and started Oblit 2. I also added blades to the Alpha Helbrutes claw. Still unsure if I'll keep them or not. Let me know what you think.

The models are looking great as per. The trim really sets those obliterators off, although I think a less organic head might work better now. Perhaps just a standard CSM head or even one of the regular Centurion heads as they have a kind of angry Kharn face going on.

Legio Ultra I had the same thought that the new guy outshines the 'leader' slightly. I'm only going to run two of them though so it shouldn't be a problem.

Medium Of Death, I did try the original heads back on the centurions I've also tried bunny eared heads as well but these are IMHO the best fit.

Nice work, Bio. I really like the way the helmet looks on the Obit/Cent. Where's it from? Is it just a chaos space marine helm?

The Gorehound is being worked on again, hoping to have something to show with that soon, Im mostly just gap filling at the moment so nothing much to really see. I have a few Ideas for an ursus claw that I want to try. If those don't work I may revert back to the giant chainblade. An army shot should be possible soon. I say should as most things are paint in progress finally.

Yellowbeard the Oblit heads are from the Chaos Raptors kit.

You know, you could actually field the Gorehound as an "Imperial Knight" now...

Thanks for the comments on the Oblits guys. I'll have more pics when I work on them again. For now I have picked up the Gorehound again. Just messing around with a few bits. Looking to add a cockpit, mine only has a single pilot in the head down to space and I'll just explain away that the rest of the crew are in the main torso. I don't think the chain blade is gonna cut it I just thought it could have been a good stand in if I did want to run it as a Knight.

Anyway onto the pics.
