I really don't... The New Order had a habit of Exterminatus so they could avoid a ground war. Why do you think they carried around so many Cyclonic torpedos in the last crusade? I low-key almost nuked 3-4 planets.

I wasn't saying they were codex followers, I was talking about their autonomy, their capability to deal with any threat. Sure, that's any chapter, but the UM are particularly independent and efficient in this regard.
