Have you tried bandaging the wounds better and taking her to the medical bay so she can get a saline IV and then a blood transfusion? She's probably dehydrated and suffering from bloodloss. Seriously... amateurs.

*Boran stands ready at the top*

*Lays Maiev on her stomach gently, then drops back down to pick up Kara*

*Gently lifts Mel up and goes to get her medical attention*
*She looks down at Mel as she runs*

*Troll grins at Commissar*

*Kara mumbles quietly, talking about a bright light and something named 'Andraste'*

*Andrea looks on grimly as Iris runs into the med bay*

*she takes Mel's temperature and curses furiously*
That incompetent moron! I'll have him disbarred for this! She's at risk for brain damage if we can't get her temperature down now!

*Horus climbs back up and nods to Boran*
Horus: Alright, ready to go?
*Drapes Kara gently over one shoulder in a fireman's carry and lifts Maiev like a baby in his arm*


*Iris nods desperately*
Iris: How can I help?

*shrugs and takes a sip of his recaf*

*Andrea's face is grim*
We can get her some ice packs or wet cloth to try and cool her down a little, but other than that all we can do is wait and pray the fever breaks

*Troll snarls at being ignored and sits down next to a couch*
*starts digging a hand into the couch to inspect it's insides*

*Boran nods and relieves Maiev from Horus*
B: Alright, off we go.
*lopes off towards the room*

*Iris grumbles*
Iris: That's what I was already doing before some Humani interrupted me...
*Starts soaking rags in cold water and applying them*


*Horus keeps his sword out in one hand as they walk along towards the room*
Horus: Let's just hope everything went well enough...

*Andrea sighs and begins treating the infected wound*
*occasionally mutters some choice words about the first doctor who treated Mel*

*Iris does all she can then sits back and lets the professional do her work*


*Horus helps Boran take Kara and Maiev back to the room and to the medbay. He gets them seen then takes them to their room*
*He lays them in the bed, puts the blanket over them, leaves them a fairly detailed note explaining everything then sits outside the door keeping watch for a bit*

A guardsmans duty is to die for the imperium.
