What? This just reads overly cynical silliness to me. It's a bundled discount, individuals who did not want those models at the price to get them individually may want them with the reduced price. It's the basics of price vs demand, you lower the price and demand goes up. They aren't 'forcing' people into thinking anything.

Pretty much. Those models aren't that old and still show up with good consistency among the AoS fanbase, so not sure where "not buying because it's out of scale" is coming from. There's hardly been any scale creep, saying the different scales hurt now is like saying chaos warriors never sold because marauders we're never as big as chaos knights and chosen.
Also, that artwork with the red plague doctor looks like the one from dark souls.

And yet the haters still try using it in argument after argument to try and support their ridiculous herohammer/monsterhammer claims and that infantry don't matter. -_-
I'd love to see them try those "OP" herohammer tactics against Bonesplitterz and watch all their heroes and monsters become pincushions. (And my visualization of them getting tea-bagged by loin-cloth orcs)

Those sets are splash releases, right? I never bought Chaos chariots for my brothers army, because I don't want to spend 35€ a pop for HIS dudes, even if I want to build and convert them. At 44€ for two and more knights, though, when imported...I mean, I could use the Gorebeasts as Dark Mech servitor weapon platforms.
If they're still up next month I might bite.

Wonder how many parts Blighwar will run to?
Realmgate Wars of course ran to five volumes. But, that was the opening of the game, and had to get us from A to B as a journey.
If Blightwars is more tightly focussed, perhaps two, maybe three volumes?

Fair point.
First one, Nurgle gets the upper pseudopod, Pansies to the rescue, setting up Slaanesh's return for the next two or three.

Realmgate Wars was only four books. The first book was more like a prologue and not branded as part of the Realmgate Wars. I'd expect this new one to be four books as well, but maybe spread out over a longer time. I think the last RGW book was less than a month after the third.

Dare I say it? No I won't.
Wow, those are some impressive miniatures. I haven't been following Age of Sigmar lately and just coming back and I am really impressed with these minis. I just found out yesterday a new edition is coming out. Man I am missing a lot.
Back to reading in what I have missed.

I can`t decide whether I like the snail or not!
It`s somehow very hard for me.. Its shell and legs = great!
It`s mount, face and random stuff on its back = toooo cartoony. Like hearthstone level stuff. ( I don`t mind it in a mobile card game, but minis with this kind of style - not my style).
Looks temoting to get the nurgly half though. I didn`t get Start Collecting yet, so I want all the toys from the evil side
And the snail is plastic, so the conversion job mustn`t be too hard.

Same. It is nice that they're adding female Stormcasts but it is annoying that both of them are only available in big boxes with bunch of other models I don't want.

I think a lot of the cartoony-ness of the snail is the way the eyes are painted, tbh.

Just to let people know the box contains Nurgle allegiance abilities. Wait clan pestelins can benefit from this box as well? Don't they also have the nurgle keyword?

Must be the paintjob, but the snail is too much on the humorous side IMO. Not a fan at all... The stormcast hero is a really nice model on the other side. I prefer stormcast all male, though, as seen from the beginning (casted in the image of Sigmar blah blah)...

Just don't fancy waiting 6+ months for it. Oh well, i'm sure the boxes are going to get pieced out in two weeks on the trade groups. They've never been all male since the start.

They were never all male, we've just not seen female ones until recently.
