i think this whole this has turned into a big huge womens rights thing and kinda isnt about IG women.

the reason theres no IG women: 99.999% of 40k players are guys
so even if they made some it would probably would be over exagerated and almost anime like. (and everyone knows its ridiculous how over sexed anime is) a realistic change would be just a bitz set of cadian women heads. If you look at the clothing in the cadian kit its pretty baggy and bulky, flak armour is not gonna change so the only real noticeable change would be the face.

Try Shadowforge models, they only make females!

I've a nice 13 woman squad that includes vox, missile launcher, grenade launcher and lasrifles. Better still, half are bare headed, the rest in berets.

Available in UK from Tritex Games, and inexpensive too.

1.) Official background says nothing against women in the IG. There are at least two BL novel series featuring them (Gaunt's Ghosts, Ciaphas Cain).

2.) GW has a handful of female IG models, including a Ghost and a commissar.

I'm putting some of the ones with Berets on my Tempestus Scions.

Also - the Space Marine PC game prominently featured a female IG soldier/officer as an NPC - I don't own the game, but she's in loads of the cut scenes on youtube.

I will say this, Victoria Miniatures has a pretty good "not Cadian" section that has a 10 woman strong squad, along with a 5 woman squad. It's expensive ($50 for 10 plus shipping), but the models themselves are pretty good looking

Forgeworld makes tons of Krieg, Cadian and Elysians females models.
