I like how you chose to do the patterning on the blade. It's a novel idea, quite different to the normal blends but very fitting.

Well February came and went really quickly, good thing I only needed to paint a couple of models this month. Relatively short post this time as I am trying to get it done before work (10 minutes to go!). Anyway, the league jumps to 1500pts on monday, so I will give better photos of the army sometime later this week. For the meantime, here is the almost completed 2nd Farseer for the army. He originally have a head swapped out for a wood elf cloaked head. It just didn't fit the way I wanted to, so I had to salvage the old troupe leader head. I think it does an ok job to make the two look a bit different.

Gotta run,

Only just found this blog, but these look absolutely stunning. I always think clean crisp schemes are so much harder to get right than muddy weathered ones as you've got so little to hide your errors with but these just look ace. I hope you're planning on stepping up to Apoc size, cus I'd love to see what you could do with an Eldar Titan

wow... the originality in both paint tones and conversions is just awesome!

The only thing I would say is that a few of the white/purple jetbike cowl patterns seem a bit less refined and random than most of them, just a bit over-busy. But what the hell do I know lol.

Great work!

Do you have a good place to order plastruct products and circle cutters online btw?

Just a quick post to put out the word. It is time to let the Harlequin themed army pass on to a new general! This army has been broken down into more manageable groups and is currently up on Ebay. That means its your chance to get your hands on some custom and well painted Eldar ready for the battle!

Wow, this army is absolutely amazing I wish I could paint even half this well.

I would love to own this army, but there's no way I could afford it. I hope it goes to a good home. As a random question, why have you decided to part with this masterpiece?

Thank you so much! I really had a great time pulling it together and a word of advice to anyone creating a themed army or just trying to find the motivation to paint. Find or start an escalation league. Its a great way to chip away at an army in manageable pieces and paint the units you will use again and again in games.

As to why I'm parting with it.... I have a curse! My curse is that I love to convert, scratch build and - occasionally - paint. The problem is, I take a crack at just about any idea that comes into my head, even if just to explore a new technique or see if it can be done. Then after its finished, I'll box it up and store it away. I hate the thought of some of these projects sitting around collecting dust. If I can find a good home for them, I'd much rather know they are getting some "oohs and ahh's" at a game store or tourney. And if they manage to inspire someone else to tackle a conversion or scratch build, even better!

Sad to see you parting with these guys - they have always been one of my favourite Eldar armies - hopefully they will go to a keen player who will make much use of them.

And I look forward to your next project
