Thanks, y'all.

Two notes:

1) Putting things in glass display shelves really DOES make everything look better, somehow, even my crappy paint jobs.

2) I forgot to tell y'all that this happened...

That's a white laser printer toner test...

Wow, that's really col about the white laser printer toner! I didn't even know that was a thing. Has anything been happening with those epic titans while I have been away? I enjoy your scratch building, so my vote goes for building a carapace and weapons for it.

Past me: "Well," I thought. "I need a background for these old Epic-scale Titans and such. Oh, maybe a Gothic church. Those are available in this scale. But I'm trying not to spend MORE money on these projects. Hrm. I know, paper-craft!"

Me: " you, past me. I remember why I hate paper-craft!"

Well, it's a start, anyways.

PS: This is for 20mm gaming. No, really. Honest.

Is that a train table layout? Or for Gaslands? Art backdrop and paper raft building look great .

The roundhouse is for my model railroad, but could work for Gaslands.

Lovely cathedral. Where did you get the background art?

Love the roundhouse and turntable. Get some grey powder on that roof to make it look appropriately worn and you'll have it! Can't wait for you to do complete detailing with figures, tools, etc on the inside of that roundhouse!

Those cases look very regal - nicely done! I note, of course, the invevitable expansion to the top. : ) Nice to see some of the old titans - those were neat models. I destroyed mine when I was young alas.

Like the red on those bastions!

Shame to sell it, but I feel your pain. Am definitely in the midst of downsizing at the moment.

I was scared to do the math the one time I sat down and crunched the numbers on a specific 1,500 point list for a thread here asking for data. Depending on the army, you generally get 4-5 points per dollar spent. If I add up my collection, I’l probably pushing 20k+ in points, so that’s a stupid amount of money on the shelf. Of course, amassed over close to 3 decades, it’s not budget breaking.

I was tempted to get that humble bundle. Just got my first 3D printer and am playing with it. But there are so many good options for free out there, I didn’t feel compelled to shell out of that package. Plus I don’t play D&D/Pathfinder these days, and even if my curant GM decided to start something, he generally prefers to keep things in the mind’s eye, rather than breaking out the battlemat.

But that bundle did look nice, and if I was still part of my old group that mainly plays pathfinder, I’d have snapped it up.

In all honesty, I grabbed the bundle SOMEWHAT for the hope of using it, but PRIMARILY...

...so I can reverse-engineer the STL files and learn how to make these things MYSELF.

And THAT was worth the $25 I sent over.

The reason I post this is for insurance purposes. Very few of us actually keep track of these things.

As someone who has, as a child, lost all of his possessions TWICE (robbery, pickup truck) I am, mayhaps, more sensitive to the need to document for insurance.

As always, YMMV.
