I hear ya about the overworked part. If you get 1-2 hrs a day to spend on this, you're doing we'll. good stress relief too.

Looks like you've got your work cut out for you de-punking that valk. Chains? Really?

Tell that to every University of Texas attendee.

Actually, the camera doesn't pick it up, but that's brass, not orange. Shot late at night with crappy lighting. I'll get better pictures up later.

Just a quick shot, to see where I am, in slowly collecting Minotaurs.

This is a Blood Angels based army, but this year's Adepticon will see a push into Vanilla Marine Landia, which means some Tac Squads and Rhinos.

It is. It was a Land Raider Redeemer I got from wm360, in the Great Marine Swap.

Thanks! I really do have to give credit where credit is due. Galorn's bases meant I only had to paint and flock them. http://www.rivetzone.com

Ask, and thou shalt receive!

First off, I would like to say that I love lightweight drywall spackle. The stuff is AMAZING. Buy a bucket. Like I did!

Mix some sprue bricks (thoughtfully provided by my $20 blender), grit, and chunky bits...

And then apply to the forehead! No. To bases! The neat part about this, is that the grit, chunks, and bricks emerge as you push the magic mixture down onto the bases, giving it a very 'natural' ruined urban terrain base...

Once these are dry, they'll be getting some more detail, some walls...and if you ask nicely, I'll send them to Galorn...

I honestly wasn't sure how well it would work. It is very, very loud, and you have to do some pre-clipping to get it down into sections the blades can handle. Oh, and it WILL kill the blender. But it is killing sprues, turning them into sprue brick rubble way, WAY faster than cutting it by hand.

Way.
