It is important to note:
One of the 'bunker' wall pieces was redesigned to be more 'ad-mech', and then I handed it off to Galorn to cast up copies. He came through with flying colors.

SCORE! I know how exciting that feeling is, I hauled a huge score about a year ago and upon arrival I promptly put them in my Necromunda terrain tote and haven't done a thing w/ them since.

Check out someof the Adepticon blogs on Dakka.. that should be a visual reason enough.. you can always ( pause...wait for it) learn the ( pause ) rules?

Classes - Many, I believe, are below your skill level, but they have a LOT of classes. And I believe you know that even a basic level class may should you a technique you don't know, or a refinement of a technique you have not run into. They also have mid and high-level classes. All are hands-on. I took home several pounds of Hirst arts casting stuff, and got casting TOTALLY de-mystified for me.
Social - Meet a LOT of Dakka-ites. Drinking! Carousing!
Gaming - Demos, Demos, Demos, mini tournaments, Demos, Demos, DEMOS.
Shopping - Starting with Forge World and down to many small publishers/producers.
Bitz - AMAZING bitz stores, and on the last day, individuals selling stuff for dirt cheap they don't want to take home.

If I hear "read the rules" one more fething time....there is a big difference between reading them, and KNOWING them. Knowing what to add/subtract when it's your roll, so people don't have to wait on you to flip through pages and pages..I just don't have that much real, actual gaming experience...but Brian answered my question..he knows I like bitz..and beer  Automatically Appended Next Post: ..Maybe I have some sort of rule or number-learning disability...but I just can't fething remember all the damn numbers of everything, Weapon strengths, BS skills, etc.

No more than the rest of us. Took me an YB 3 hours to do 3 turns the other night.. Point is.. you gotta start somewhere... and playing with a bunch of great guys like the Wardens is good no matter win or lose.
