Gorden is a much better name for him than Billy. I can't root for Billy but I find myself hoping that Gorden achieves his life's ambition, even if that means just settling old scores on his homeworld. I imagine that he even reads and writes better than his merc partners.

Definitely JB - he has to continually prove that he is better than the rest of the mercs because he suffers from low self esteem too.

Thanks y'all for the support! I will keep on trucking.

Today I purchased two more mercs - they are Sarge Rockhard and Catachan Luke from the mercenaries section: http://www.solegends.com/citrt/rt7mercenaries.htm
They won't be arriving for a time as I had to pay by e-check. I also got some metal decking bases for the delaques and hybrids.

Good job with Gorden, but shouldn't he have a crowbar?

Love the muted colours, excellent choices as usual. Ny only crit is that the nose-ring doesn't seem to stand out from the face, but that may be different in RL.

Liking the little bits of fluff you're giving us about the minis, keep that coming. Patiently awaiting the next guys, but don't you already have Sarge?

Did that beastman come that way or did you add the head? That looks excellent!

Monkeytroll you get a cookie for getting my gorden freebeast reference! A very special invisible cookie.
As to sarge I don't have that one but he does look a bit like Plunderino Pete who I have two of.

Valhalla he comes that way. He is one of the very few imperial guard beastmen ever made. I think there were just 3 - this one, one with two clubs and the one with a plasma pistol and chainsword

http://www.solegends.com/citrt/rt501imperials1.htm that's him on the top far left

and the other two

That beastman is beautiful, Weety! The different tones of leather and the fur are particularly well done. I don't know if I've mentioned it enough, but I'm really enjoying the little snippets of fluff lately - they're so creative, and really add to the personality of your minis. Apologies for the quiet spell - I'm still loving your work, even if work means I don't have time to comment!

I'm sure the others all got the reference, it's just I was the only one feeling desperate for cookies And invisible ones are great, thanks a lot I can pile my plate full of them and no-one says a thing about being greedy.

Yeah, I realised it was Petey boy you already had just after posting that.

In Eve Online the viewpoint drifts slightly when you're in space and on occasion I would find that the rocking of my boat would match with the rocking of the screen, that was always a slightly weird feeling

TBH, I've only played bits of half-life, although I have the orange box on steam I've never actually installed it

I played it for a while last year when a friend gave it to me but eventually the low quality graphics made me a little sick too - I love the idea of a game with no loading screens though. Hate loading screens so much. They should do that again sometime!!.

Hey scarper thanks - it was reading your fluff (after months of skipping it to get to the pictures) that got me to do some myself. I love the way you really flesh your characters out. So I thought with the mercs being such characterful minis they better have some stories to back them up - maybe I will write more..

You should check out Black Mesa; it's a complete recreation of the original Half Life in the Half Life 2 game engine - I must admit I'm finding replaying many of my classic games a bit of a pain thanks to the graphics nowadays as well, so projects like this are always a win for me. Can't wait for the HD Baldur's Gate rerelease

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?

Its official apparenty. I never played the original myself.

But anyway. Does anyone remember this from buck rogers? Personally the only thing I remember from buck rogers was that horny little robot that went "Bidi-bidi-bidi, that chicks got nice jugs buck, Bidi-bidi-bidi". But anyway this is a nice little space fighter and perfect scale for wh40k. It has a great shape. Its the Lamborghini of space fighters

I wonder why it has that extra piece on the front? they've elongated the two cones coming out of the front and attached that crosspiece. That looks strange. Keep in mind, that I loved Buck Rogers when i was a kid and was always upset I didn't get the toy space fighter. lol
