Thanks for the pics of the killer- with the one foot balanced on the rock, that _was_ a bit finicky to get put together correctly, wasn't it? You made a good job of it.

Trying to get my old mojo back, so to speak,

the one foot and rock at least are a solid molded piece, the rest is what got so dang fiddly!

Better give that multi part with all the fiddly a parachute. Only trouble I ever had with metal was no matter what you do, if you drop them they come t bits.

Yeah, the new blisters were fairly easy to come by via miniatures market, you may have a more local store carrying the Infinity stuff!

So, the Anathematic seems to be posed as if hamming it up on stage quoting Hamlet or MacBeth. But there it is, ion red and black priming.

I have been doing some dry brush work to age the dark armor of the buggos and Bio-mechanoids, then I must do flesh tones, so their images will be coming up soon.

I refer to them as Doctor Wormulus and his helpers. There are plenty of the big beasties, and mechs from all their factrions to pick from!

On another note, I did dry brush the Adamantium black with shadowed steel, a dark metal in it's own right to make the armor look more full of depth. First up are the three Buggos I needed to do that to.

Now that the main armor color is done, I can dry brush the outer flesh of the red muscle zones showing. Shooting them in those areas however is like hitting steel reinforced Ballistic Rubber.


And now the armor of the Anathematic, a major big fighting unit, is also dry-brushed as the others. Definitely makes his/her armor look odd doesn't it?

It just shows the strange alien texture of the materials used See how it looks after the fleshy bits are done, if you still think it looks odd then maybe add a glaze?

Oddball tanks wise have you checked out the Australian Sentinel tank. Looks like a Renault F35 crossed a Cruiser.

Yep, the spectre autopsy in XCOM2 makes the metal look just about right.

Yeah, we had a lot of water cooled vickers machineguns and not much else, hence the very large, very phallic armoured covers.

There was one test vehicle that mounted twin 25 pounders side by side in the turret. The idea being that you don't need a 17 pounder to recoil test a 17 pounder being fired in your tank.

That would fit WH40k so easily
