Hey LDD! I saw the latest thing, checked on affordability, and ordered from Brother Vinni and Zinge Oh and plastic, 9lbs of it!

I used the smaller sized handles, smallest and 2nd smallest. I do need to work putty at the base of the turrets to fill some holes that shaving caused, and the warping from the plastic cement effect.

I will likely mount Heavy-Bolters to the glacis plates of the new cars.


Anywhoo, I must show the scale of the 4 x 4 I am currently working on, it will be a decent sized machine once done.

Yes once I get some cash together I will be investing in a few of both suppliers or should that be dealers

The body is coming together nicely and the wheel arches look nice and symmetrical, just one thing I have found when using plasticard especially on the larger base section it can bow a tad, so you might want to add some kind of plastic slats to the bottom to give a bit of resistance.

The little tank is primer only, waiting for Khadrovian camo works to do it up.

I say suppliers, less seedy that way!

I was actually gonn add under support with a Universal shaft between the axles.

I am actually thinking with the size, make it an amphibious and squad carrying machine. Lower hull that you all see is based somewhat off the old Soviet BRDM-2 for the shape and configuration.


Of course it is already deviated from that design, and I will make the upper structure a bit different as it will also have a Heavy Bolter in the upper bow.

I tend to work faster listening to Youtube videos of Sabatons' work.

I can get into Sabaton... sometimes. If one comes up when I'm listening to Blind Guardian or Kamelot so be it, but I usually can't listen to a playlist through (but that's a lot of things).

Looking good there! IMHO and I am not sure if this has been mentioned previously or not... but it looks like it would lend itself to being an amphibious vehicle of some kind... I only say it because again IMHO I think the wheels may look slightly too small for it to be a vehicle that would solely operate on land..... The overall form with the turret is looking good though! Looking forward to seeing where you go next

I am prepping to make 4 smaller retractable wheels tucked in between the large road wheels, as the BRDM-2 has, and the rear ramp will have 2 vent covers for the aqua jets to pus it through water as I planned from the start to make it have the amphibious ability! Roads, cross country and over water the BRDM-200 can deliver troops anywhere!

That armoured car is shaping up nicely.

I like the idea of retractable wheels and aqua-jets to turn it amphibious...hover-jets would be even cooler, but not quite right for your fluff I know.

Your getting there and adding the retractable wheels and jets should pull it all together perfectly, I do think it might benefit from slightly larger wheels but will hold on that till the rest is dome.

Either way you have captured the essence of the BRDM spot on

Yeah hover craft/skimmers are not liked by Khadrovians who like to stay solid on the ground when not in actual aircraft

Well, LDD with the number of tires I have left, a BTR-60 homnage with the 2nd turret is planned, the 4 tires on the BRDM were of a decent size, 23mm sized tires

the larger 26mm tires will be all 8 on the BTR variant I have planned.

How do you find the time to build stuff so damn quickly, mine are still on sprues and I have them ages now look great although never been a fan of the Defiance range myself but look good still.

Well, there are similarities between CDF adnd the UAMC from Defiance, both are inspired by the Colonial Marines of Aliens. LOL
