Good to see you are putting some of those bits to good use already

I always pictured the radios as those bright 50's colours like a candy red etc. I did try to paint one that sort of colour but seem to fail at pointing bright colours for the time being.

Vik has the idea as to the style as usual .

You're APC is coming along nicely, do you have any plans for details on the top section yet, quite a bit of plastic real-estate there. Trench rails look good on the back

Well, in FO-3 and NV I see them with the faux wood color. Usually a chestnutty color, like this model someone made

but at the saloon in Goodsprings, is the black one

Then there are sporty colors

But yes the Nuka-Cola idea is not new

Well, with the toaster OMN made and sent along with it, I will make a bombed out dwelling with the bathrooms, halls, kitchen(not much of one left) and living room, maybe if it still has it's upstairs, a bathroom up top as well as the bedroom. I will be making some tables then, maybe some chairs and sofa?

A radio like that would be a good way to inject a spot of colour to a piece of terrain. So a bold colour, like red, would be a good choice. Maybe blue just as an alternative to get you thinking.

Wood would be a nice look, but you would have to think about what colours the rest of the kitchen would be to not loose the radio in a mass of similar colours; thinking of the mainly brown colours of Fallout 3...

True, all the dingy post apoc places the only thing is when the radios are turned on and lit up, a nice Nuka promotional radio would stick out nicely in such a battered setting.

Today he has new friends, I intend to use them all as a 4 man special operators mercenary team.

Yes, I also got some nice command squad from Dreamforge. Before MM runs out!

Sentinels? Oh no way, they are just about terminator sized troops

Anyway, I have not assembled the kit yet, but I do have images to share of the command squad kit!

Unboxing pics!

The box!

Still in the bag!

Parts and bases, based on the instructions, the robo-mules get to be on the large bases with the comms guy, the forward observers, as they obvious carry that extra gear for them. and the one with the medic is a mobile stretcher with holding rails so as not to let the patient roll off the mule!

Dem sniper rifles!!!
[/img]

Soldier sprue with the cool bits like the flag and such
[/img]

Flag!
[/img]

Commander parts for that Klingon like coat-cloak!
[/img]
[/img]

And finally the mule bits
[/img]

Gonna have fun assembling them the painting during the commander's assembly will be like when I did the Skitarii

Yeah, there's three of everything. I got the accessory kit for parts and weaponizing otherwise non-violent models. I still haven't assembled any mules though as they look fiddly. Maybe sometime.

Nice stuff Shas, looking forward to them being added to the fold.

Inso is right, it is three mules, one for hauling the comms arrays, another for the forward observation gear and relay, the 3rd is the medical mule! Dreamforge set a new bar, and makes it so GW stuff looks odd next to it.

grim, they can be fiddly, but once made, well, decent mobile pack units. frees up the troops a LOT.

So far worked on the individual stand model,, Commander's armor pants and boots but the othrs guys are ready for primer/paint.

Back of them, but the officer coat blocks the attachment points for the back pack, so he has no back pack when done

I love the kits from dreamforge, but they have such tiny parts that my fingers always get glued together. The mule legs are definitely a pain, that's why I put wheels on one of mine a long time ago.

Well, while they have the multiple pose fiddly legs, they also have solid 1 piece legs that make life a little bit easier!

Love the mech suits.

Latest looks awesome, these guys are getting about a bit at the moment and definitely catching my eye.

Going to have to look into making myself a mule variant.

Those AT-43 power suits cam pre-painted.

Mule is likely possible having seen what you have scratch built Cam!

Well, to show a mule off, I have the Medic and his stretcher-mule

The Mule has diagnostics sensors and a control monitor/keyboard

I placed the one with the monocular on a separate base for ease of stowing away. the mule is also separate.

Next is the comms man, alone, he will be assigned a mule to pack his gear onto.

So, the commander is assembled, (sort of), ready for paint, which an order for some black primer for brushing on is shipping. and of course so are the Dr.H and Zinge orders. Anyway, speaking of orders, they made this fellow look very capable of handling the giving of orders to all the Stormies, Jaegers, and Valks I have, well, the Valks are sepparate and special. But the Panzer Jaegers and Nachtjaegers, and jungle commandos with the old guards and new will folow as this 10man and 3 mule set is more company command than platoon level! I just need to come up with a name for him.
[/img]

Here shows an older, more seasoned man, and I think a Von should be attached to his family name.
[/img]

High quality officers' pistol, and he has a close combat dagger with him.
[/img]

Holster for the pistol at his hip, and you can see if he needs it close, he can use that trench coat like belt to stay warmer or more formal looking at command meetings.
[/img]

These guys carry fore-arm length daggers!
[/img]

Here we see how he is not completely assembled as I wish to make him painted on the full leg armor, and the liner color of that cloak/coat before I put him together at last
[/img]

And one last dignified shot of the Noble Officer

LOL...probably not, as shaso uses mostly old established military personalities for namesakes of his models^^

the officer looks indeed very good, tho the pose with the dagger is that classic dual wielding schtick GW taught us^^...

the mules never did it and even your amazing construction work with these still can´t make them look any less puny...while i see there use, the look is too frail...

your AT-43 suits really are a cool find!!! i dunno why my irrational love for mechanical suits exists, but these sure are eyecandy galore^^!

Yeah, GW and the be ready for close combat, the pistol also counts as additional CCW!

Maybe the one hero, the one martyred Von Staufenberg?

Mules seem dainty, but are actually supposed to be durable if true metal.

Yeah the AT-43 power suits will make great Operators for hire!
