For those wanting to record Minecraft, there's a new mod out that allows you to record in-game. iJevin did a mod review of it, but I can't remember the name right now. It's pretty beast, though, and free, so you might want to check it out.

-Befor begging for items try to find the servers FAQ page sometimes it will answeevrey question and more
-I recommend that you find a clan server, these usually have a small to medium range of players that are active and are friendly
Personally I think minecraft is the best game I have ever played besides 40k
This is the server I've been on for a long time now, http://multifarious.org/ it's an awesome server 99.9% legit and very friendly staff and players.

Tyranid Horde wrote: When you record, if you have fraps, the program brings your fps down to a stable 30 fps. No matter how many fps you get when not recording you'll be stuck on 30 with fraps. What recording software do you use if not fraps?
Blueberry Flashback Express. Has a setting which allows you to set what framerate you want to record at. Then it lowers the game's fps to that level. It frees up memory and is very efficient; it takes up the memory it saves first, and tries not to use it excessively. You can assign an entire core to it, which allows for a capture rate of, oh, I don't know, about 180 fps?
About 170 on render distance normal + 64 (I use Optifine Multi Core, which gave me a +75% fps boost) and fast graphics. I also use the clear waters option it makes for you. Even less lag. If you can call 170 fps lag

Currently attempting to put together a homebrew non-canon Space Marine chapter. If I can be bothered to getting around to painting the models and putting the things together of course...
Oooh, potatoes. THat's awesome. I would love another farm that uses tilled soil. Vines don't really count...

How do you make those painting secret doors? I've tried and failed many times.

Keep the door shut, try placing the picture on the wall next to it. Keep going until it is big enough to cover the door. Then you need to open it either with a current or from the other side. I think it works on both doors, but wood is probably the easiest to do.
My new place's portal is placed and MOST of the nether tunnel is also placed. Need to go grab some more stonebrick to finish the rest.
I think I'll call it Lazuli Bay.

Glass may work just as well, i think it just needs to be translucent for the effect.

Including casing to hide the wiring the wall works out to only being 4 blocks thick. Of course the design seems like it can go from bedrock all the way to the ceiling.
The wiring itself is pretty minimal.
And that pillar in the background on the left is a cheaper version for corners instead and such. Though this design doesn't need it.
