Does anyone have iron to trade, in quantity? I have the usual bits and pieces to offer plus a LOAD of slimeballs and redstone...

I've mostly finished building my Iron Keep but still need probably 10 stacks of iron to finish the upper levels, or around a stack and a half of iron blocks!

Well I do, but I'm after neither slime nor redstone especially.

I'm not sure I'd do the full 10 stacks, but I should be able to do a decent amount depending on what's on offer for it. Most of my interest is up to diamond and emerald though.

We don't use Tekkit on the server though-- it's a Dakka server, and they don't want any more instability than normal for minecraft.

I know the dakka servers a no mods aloud zone tekkit uses its own launcher so i still have a vanilla MC launcher when i go on the dakka server.

Yup it has mo creatures, at least im guessing that would be the one that adds skeletal and slime horses/ regular horses, werewolves, turtles, ducks, sharks, snakes, ect.

There's this one horse mob in it that I cannot find on any of the forums or Wikis- it's essentially a black, batwinged 'real' horse that's initially hostile. Spawns in underground caverns (which, by the way, are very strange for me. I somehow managed to keep my world through a couple of updates, and one apparently didn't use the same Thaumcraft stuff, so I think that, instead of getting Obelisk rooms, I just got these giant spherical chambers underground.)

They'll eat sugarlumps, so I think they can be tamed and ridden, but I don't know what they are. Also, apparently other mobs can ride the hostile horses as well.

But yeah, the Croc thing is just an f5 click or two away.

Those evil winged horses scared the crap out of me when I first saw them, I thought they were some kind of mini-enderdragon.

Clay soldiers mod should be in the server because then it will make the server more entertaining......and we should bet iron ingots for which army will win.

They're not adding any mods to the official server. Some of the other players are making a tekkit server though, an unofficial dakka server.

Do you know the IP address?

This is a quite entertaining mod for me because I never use my clay. But it can produce horrible lag.

I don't think it was made yet. I almost got a spare computer I could have used as a server machine yesterday, but alas, it didn't happen...

We're working on it, it's not a thing yet...

It's an issue of cost. More than likely, when I upgrade my pc, the old one will become the server host. It'll be on 24/7, but not sure about it yet. Only a theoretical so far...

It's just the mine and blade mod is still going through rigorous redevelopment due to a hook being removed from one of the class files mine and blade requires to switch to battlemode; a mode where you can become a dual wielding monstrosity! Here's the link:

I installed this and have NEVER REGRETTED IT SINCE! I don't want any updates: this mod makes it cool enough. That, and you can make Balkon's weapons dual wieldable too. Plus, with mo' creatures installed you can have jousting tournaments with knight armour, shields and improvised lances (spears). Throw in some sort of magic mod and then you could have a Warhammer fantasy server, maybe? Just an idea.

Is this Mo' Creatures? You may be thinking of a ghost horse. A winged ghost horse...

I just had an idea where there is a place where players fight it out in a gladiatorial arena that has mazes,Walls,pistons,traps,dungeons and arrow dispensers behind lava. And I would like to build it if it goes ahead. And the roof is a viewing platform for spectators.

I think it should be near the spawn point on the Dakka minecraft server. In the desert maybe? I will also draw a prototype spectator view.

Well you have lots of space around where Dark set you up and it's kind of close to spawn. Might be somewhere around there to build it.

Nearish the spawn point but far enough to give the spawn a bit of breathing room...

If someone drew a prototype then I would have something to work off of.

I've done the colloseum. Granted, it isn't very pretty, but it does the trick. Large, lots of seats (Which I've realised is completely useless, but there you go) and a fair amount of room in the centre. You can expand it up if you want more area. I left out traps etc in case anyone wanted to put their own in.

Pretty awesome...

I'd like to see it in sandstone though
