If it's the same one you were talking about quite a few pages back, then yeah, do what you like with it. It's likely whoever built it has moved, given up on the server, or just doesn't care. I'd say it's been a reasonable amount of time to wait for a response.

Everyone should always put signs with their name somewhere on their builds, so people know who to contact in cases like this. Even if it's just a temporary night shelter, put a sign saying such, so if someone finds it in the way, they know it's ok to take down.

That said, if you're making a "secret base" then yeah, you could forgo the signage, but then you also can't complain if someone doesn't spot your secret base when choosing somewhere to build.

Yep, thats it Dark. It covers a small base, no bed, with a single ladder down, followed by a staircase. There is a cave, unexplored.

My signs have been there for over 2 weeks, so I am going to scavenge and then take it down.

It's been here far longer than my little hut, but I would think it would make a nice perimeter for my tower. I know that we're not supposed to build on other people's stuff, but it doesn't look like anyone has touched it in a while.

I do not have a nether portal, I could create one, but I don't know where the closest one is (so as not to create an issue with nether travel)

I think building an island would be cool, my other thought is that I've always wanted to build an underwater structure... Perhaps I can do both!

Having an Enderchest may help transporting everything. You'd best find the closest nether portal to use, since that one would probably already be connected. Where are you currently, and do you have a lot that needs to be transported?

An Ender Chest would be fantastic if only I had one
I can make obsidian, but I can't mine it (no diamond pick since I died down in my cave/mine ).

Currently I'd like to take what I own, so a stove, a crafting table, 2 chests and their contents and move them to the Kingdom of Kiip, as well as the few watermelons I have growing (so I can farm).

Oshunai's Portal seems to be closest.
There are chest, a crafting table, and a furnace set up for you here, if you're stil moving. You won't have to take those that way.

what I will probably do is grab my bed, my tools, food, and cobble and book it at day break for the nether portal and head for the Kingdom of Kiip. build me a hut and then go back and forth until I'm all moved in. It will be a process.

Depending on when you're on, I can help. I've got a semi-empty inventory, an empty enderchest that I can take with me, and I know the way through the nether. (head to 0,0 portal, and follow the signs that say 'thenoobbomb' or 'eldooderino' on it )
