eh, killing the ones that escape doesn't make much of a dent in them, and I get leather and beef
I'm now sitting pretty on like 20 stacks of cooked beef

Finally, after about 7 tries and 100+lvl worth of experience, I have the bow I have always wanted: Infinity, Flame 1, Power 4.

It could be better, it could be unbreakable as well, but the 3 main enchantments are there!

...doesn't make up for the lousy diamond sword, though. Bane of Arthropods 4? Really?



Also, when are we redoing the enderdragon battle?

I'll take the Bane of Arthropods sword. I got spiders to kill. 2 Spider Spawners, in my base, almost right on top of each other. Screw sheep, I'm gonna make my wool out of string.

Admittedly, it isn't all that terrible, it has fire aspect 2 so it can still deal with other mobs just fine, just not what I was hopping for.

It's a bit pre-used cause I was testing it out. It one-shots spiders, and 2-3 shots most other mobs.

Tried to get a better diamond sword, similar outcome. Smite 4 instead of Bane 4 and Looting 3, Knockback 2 instead of Unbreaking 3.

Good against creepers, and all the undead. Doesn't help against the dreaded witch that much though...

I continue to hunt for a better diamond sword! (Sharpness instead of Bane/Smite )

EDIT: Wow my bow is good, full power shot does 20 damage + fire...

so when is that ender dragon thing going down tommorow?.... we can bring steak

Well I'd be interested but there's not many on at the moment ... maybe if we fixed a firm date/time to redo the fight for video purposes (assuming the cameraman hasn't been drinking again ) that might be better?

Also, completely off-topic: I note that this thread has now reached 589 pages; might there be some mileage in requesting a sub-forum so we can have more focussed conversations?

As for the thread, I don't think the post frequency isn't really often enough to make a whole sub-forum, it would end up rather sparse. It's not too hard to follow this thread, and we already have separate threads for whitelisting and FTB etc.

Depends what would suit people. I can't do Saturday 21st. The Saturday after that is the 28th December, so people may be away visiting family or may be at home dissappointed with their new socks, so it could be better or worse.

Also it might be worth moving it a bit later to 9pm UK time? To better suit the US and Australian people. Unless that makes it an unsuitable time for a large amount of UK people?

Someone was asking about large quantities of cobblestone recently so, in case anyone else needs an unlimited supply, I've installed a cobblestone generator at the Mountain Crown that anyone is welcome to use.

It basically lets you dupe your items but I don't think there's a way to actually trigger it.

Tried punching it/me but it/me wouldn't take any damage
