They are quite different models to be honest, I have an old metal one nocking around somewhere

I don't know how you guys do it: whenever I buy a new kit, it's all I can do to get home first before I start assembling

I buy things with the intention to build and paint them, however something else comes along and then my interest moves However Dave no way can I out do your hoarding skills you win hands down, add to that Lego Playmobil and what else you have

As for the steam tank I got it from a lad at work who was leaving for uni, he had no time for his hobby any more and wanted rid of it, no cost just gave me it nice lad however never had a use for it.

he just put in your lap for nothing??? boy are there still nice souls out there...

and i would love to see a comparrision shot as i proably could get the metal one... but that would be a true build then... whereas the plastic kit would be heavyly converted... no doubt about it

and i see why you get so much stuff and then don´t come to built/work with it... often i do this on my own too... if i had more money i would go ballistic^^

I think my FLGS still has a metal Steam Tank on the shelf Vik. I can pick it up for you if you want.

Yes, he just gave me it plus some old sprue's and bits, I did offer him some cash but he said no thanks, what to do

I have a compulsion to buy stuff I like, the only thing is I can buy it quicker than build it

i thought like this too... i just wanted to see what your store charges... getting it to my place is kind of like dumb move then... the metal kit is on ebay often enough... about Landraider prices i say... and postage would be a killer...but you of all the peeps will know that so i just have to decide and then i can get it... actually that shouldn´t be a minutes search... as i said i stumbled on the steamtank quite often already...

and i do live with crossed fingers waiting for that care/winner package^^ i am quite sitting on edge^^
