at LDD... yeah right... does it sound too dickish that we redecorated the whole childrens room in one weekend? new carpet and every single piece of furniture is now standing at a totally different place? it can be done....

at mordain...yeah... that would be possible too... although this would then remind us all a bit too strongly of cap of A, eh?

at Hazzer... thank you sir!

That RAF circle's just always made me think "I'm a target, please shoot here!" I think the Lion Rampant is more fitting with your Victorian theme anyway.

Nice work on that captain, Vik! And yes, any model that carries a riveted shield has badass written all over it... oh and why not put a gear or two on it, for decoration?

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

LOL! Love the Captain Vik! Now If I had the parts, a Captain Khadrovia would have a definite cog theme to the shield as well as a BIG RED STAR in the middle. I have to find those from my Tau stuff. Soviet Airforce stars that is.

'Tis true, the same model posed for each image though.

It's a popular model!

I just wanted to say I also like your Cap'n Vik! I think the lion will look great, but making an homage to Cap'n "A" would be cool too.

I'm sure you will do it justice! (pun not intended )

I know I have been absent from the threads for far too long, but I recently got side-tracked by building up my Chaos Army. I finally visited my FLGS, and I want to get in some games before too long, so I want my army to be completely assembled, if not painted.

Keep up the good work! I'll be watching!

not lying... not as such... but i might have exagerated a bit maybe on the amount of work done ... tho it is true a new carpet and all furniture has been rearanged... it needed to be done!...

and no cogs...seriously ...

inmygravenimage wrote:Maybe a cog rim to the shield? And we've just totally reorganised our upper floor, via a brief jaunt to Mr Ikea...

darn... that would actually add a nice edge to the shield... but that´d be only possible with gs then...oh my...

naw.... no point in feeling bad about chatting about house works.... i actually like that... as for ikea...we have about 80% of our furniture bought from there.... i love their stuff... the whole flat is styled and filled with IVAR.... splendid stuff...if you ask me...works for customizations like a charm!!!

dsteingass wrote:I'm a lazy-ass that isn't redecorating anything when it's this fething cold outside.

ah... when it is summer i am less able and eager to work with muscles... when its cold outside you can work way harder...you can cool down while sweating.... but that´s not possible in the summer time...

on this too... the colder it is the more you get done... summer is a bugger for hobby even more... i get dragged far more often to this OUTSIDE than in the winter...

V for Vendetta is one of my favourite films

If you are unable to free hand the rampant lion with a paint brush, and you thought about using drawing pens? I use them on my purity seals for the text. Just bout a pack of 12 different colours (although they are a little thick for my liking) i have my black ones 0.1, 0.3 & 0.5 mm (well i assume its in mm)
