The steel would also be slightly more durable in a game here people run around with flamethrowers. Looking forward to seeing this develope.

^ when I saw that the beloved speaclist games are being shut down I had thoughts of revolting up against the GW monsters!... then I realised fantasy flight has 40k RPGS... plus I still have the Specialist Rulebooks... and Dust Tactics... I'll comlplain once the inevitable Valkyrie shoots up to $80.. im not looking foward to that

One of two things is going to happen.

1 GW is going to wake up, get competitive, and realize they're driving off their fan base. Fix pricing and get back to the old ways.
2 GW wii tank, someone will get the ip, and we'll have to deal with this for another 10 years.

that is the most likley end to this issue...and seeing how everyone is making their own gangs from scratch rather than buying the gangs from GW directly...*shrugs*

and just on a totally unrelated note... i never bought me a single mini from GW... everything i own i got from cheaper sources like ebay... or from thrid parties like victoria lamb... really... even the rules are more often updated due to fandexes as GW supports anyones hobby... but well... i am a scratchbuilder anyways...

Vik you are the singular reason why GW never supported the game. They always said no one would buy it, and Vik proved them right. Actually most people have turned to ebay, or third party bits. I really don't know why GW even bothers with having an online store anymore. Everything they sell n there is already available for 20% off through o many other channels. I think if they stopped paying their legal department, they could drop the cost of their models in half and make twice as much. Can't wait to see the outcome of the chapterhouse lawsuit, as I think GW has put a lot of eggs in that basket hoping that the verdict will go their way and they can get a serious influx of money from fees, and have a leg to stand on in closing opposition.

It's easy for me to vote with my wallet when they are only releasing stuff I have no interest in, but can I hold out when/if they ever release plastic stormtroopers?

I complain about them too, but I did buy the storm ravens when they came out and a storm talon as well. I not even have stats for the second as they don't care enough to put aCopy in the box.

I'm getting tired of my IPad, it's how I post everything, but it doesn't pick up half the letters so I'm constantly editing my posts. Stupid technology.
