I've always wanted to take ogryns and cut of the tops of their head to replace them with electronics, wires and an antenna. I like the idea of lobotomized & remote controlled Ogryn.
Other then that I would vote for ww1 german helmets.

I am also a fan of the chaos grot army...

Chaos Grots now that would be a strange combination but fun however I would avoid the Nurgle God as it would be to easy to take that route Khorne would be my choice all that Red and Gold

I agree with Theo ogres cant be lobotomised they are dumb as hell to start with, what they have only allows them to walk, eat, kill and possibly poop.

Khorne grots...a bit like angry marines thrown in maybe?? Sounds like fun for sure...

Catches us all up eventually but I cant ever build a SM army of any kind But I can use them for conversions

Ahoy Vik! Hope all is well with you! I was just in la but i missed ya, was only home for a week! Its not a complete trip until i try to, but unsuccessfully, play catch up with your plog. Everytime i return theres another 50 pages of content to sift through! Gah! Loving the ogryn on the previous page, i always enjoy the characters you come up with, now ill have to keep up from nyc so i can see him painted and brought to life. Apologies for many absences but ill try to be a better supporter of THE blog on dakka! Be well and ill check bk soon

LOL, yeah i had noticed. Sadly, im all or nothing at all when it comes to the hobby, so when it comes time to direct my attention to the other brushes i use, its hard to chime in after missing literally a hundred pages of content. Quite the creative man he is!
