Back to Skyrim.

Snap, went back to a level 30ish double destro caster Khajit I had been playing.
Had forgotten how fun and big the game was.

Finished the Foresaken questline in Markath, great stuff.

I pulled up a lvl 50 redguard warrior today. Hadn't touched him since the Vamp DLC came out. Think he caught my interest again. Gonna take him to Solthsteim.

That's the Dragonborn DLC. Takes you back to the Island that was an expansion in Morrowind.

I had a buddy that did that, except he was playing on some kind of progression server that had none of the expansions and they unlocked over time, or something. I'll admit that I didn't play EQ much (lv 50 wizard or something... maybe), but could never see going back to such a game myself

After all of this crazy space/missile/etc stuff I think I'm gonna have to load up FTL yet again. Still need the crystal cruiser and some of the achievements

Saint's Row the third is making me laugh so hard I think I may get silly and order the Super Dangerous Wub Wub edition of the fourth.

Which is both ridiculous and silly before even seeing what it is.

Super Dangerous.....Wub Wub Edition....

I might have to buy that just because of the name.

Just finished a marathon pace play through of Civ5, it's been a good long while since I actually finished one. Small Continents with the Brits, loads of fun. Brit naval move bonus, plus Ships of the Line, plus great lighthouse, plus the Commerce thing that gives you extra move = total naval domination.

Yes, yes it has. I still make it a point to do something in Fallout 1, 2 and tactics every year.

Been mostly playing Divinity: Dragon Commander and loving it!

Occasional bout of Red Alert 3 co-op with Dakka's favourite drunk.

Aaaaand... I just bought at least 6 Armored Core games (playstation 1 and 2) So I will be doing lots of that, thinking about actually streaming those, I have an HD PVR anyway. Though if I do, I kind of want to do them chronologically, and that involves getting Project Phantasma and Master of Arena, for a good price, in PAL format....

I was actually thinking about pulling out AC: Last Raven a couple days ago. I still haven't gotten all the different endings on that

Ah, that explains the gallery.

Having given it a week I'm going back to Shadowrun Returns. Let's see what the community have churned out in the Steam Workshop in the interim.

Hey if you played the series with maximum paragon levels barely anyone will die. That's not to say that certain people won't, though the only ones who will die are those who do in all versions. I was really confused at the time when my friends were griping over certain characters copping it in their versions, whilst in mine they lived happily ever after. ...Though uh, I was a little miffed about one character that only lives if you've made pretty poor decisions through the series. *sniffles

I had to reload just to watch Shepard shoot that silly alien in the back.

It's not really about paragon or renegade but rather how much time you've put into the series and game. Doing missions in the right order and whatnot.

If you do, please, PLEASE devote at least a couple half-hours (or hours) to customization, trying out odd/different Cores than you usually do, that sort of thing.

Every single AC series I've seen is always "This is the Core I know- it uses Sniper Rifles and flies really fast" and then just beat the game. Do something odd.

Also, do you have stream libraries where I could watch stuff after the fact? I don't really do streams that much.

Indeed. You must suffer through at least one level per game with tank legs

And occasionally it's something really innocuous, like the single dialogue option I didn't choose when talking to Kelly Chambers in the refugee camp that, resulted in, well... something getting caught in my eye. *cough*

I find that tank legs are only good for one thing - fighting other Ravens. I was having a helluva of time trying to out-manuever an enemy, so I decided to slap on some tank legs, heavy core/arms, and grenade launchers/missiles...stayed in one place, and when he attempted to fly around, I rained missiles on him. When he tried to get close, he got bombarded with grenades and machine gun fire. It was sooo much easier that way!

Sounds like a thing to do. You basically give up everything that makes piloting an armored core cool, in exchange for the capacity for heavier gear. Sometimes those arena matches get rough though, gotta do what it takes.
