How is that compared to Civ 5? I started with five, and have been thinking of looking at the older ones if they are cheap enough (although I'm a but more preoccupied with endless legend at the moment).

Back on the Skyrim playthrough again. (The amount of times I've played the same character is getting rediculous. Usually down to my own fault for not backing up saves and installing new mods.)

However really having fun with it now. Doing a lightish roleplay were I only visit cities that I have reason to, IE I get a rumour etc

Managed to join the Thieves Guild, pickpocketing people is rather annoying I must say. As I have the thieves guild requirements mod. Will open up a fair amount of the map with the misc jobs.

One mod I dop want to point out is Falskaar, I honestly thought the inital quest to start this mod was a vanilla quest I had missed, it just so well put together. It just just feel like a smaller Skyrim to be fair but I've only explored a little of it. So looking to have more fun exploring a new land.

Still have the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC to play. I bought them when they were released but still haven't played them at all.

Also Liara, but because she was cute and had an air of innocence and naivete which belied her hidden determination and willpower.

Basically between Tali and Liara- not just because there's that air of the exotic around them, but they just have such better personalities. Miranda's too "I'm better than you, you should be glad I deign to even talk to you". If not in how she talks, then at least in how she acts/interacts with things.

It's funny, I always saw Tali as a 'little sister' rather than anything else.

I mean, I like the character, sure. It's just well, the whole relationship thing? Kinda feels like incest...

I was always more a Liara person.

Wait, if you're talking about which character out of those three is the "hottest"... then it's Garrus. This is obvious.

Stalker Soup, a mod for the original Shadow of Chernobyl game. It takes the base game then adds the cut areas, the ones from the other games plus a load more. Problem: the mod for the most part follows the base game's plot, so doesn't send you off to the other areas at all. To get to these areas you need to do side quests, which at times are a bit complex.

That and I think it ups the enemy count in story areas a bit. The sheer number of enemies doesn't really fit with how I play the game, with it being a slow methodological thing. Yeah try that when you die in one hit and there's fifty NPCs shooting at you (there's a bit at the end when you need to make it across open ground surrounded by snipers ...and three RPG soldiers). It also doesn't help that you make no money from selling loot (ten AKs, a couple of artifacts and some junk nets you 1500 rubles). ...And ammo costs a silly amount (13 AK bullets are 1500 rubles). ...And enemies only carry a few rounds when you loot them.

...Cue god mod and sprinting through the areas.

Also remember Xen from Half Life? Remember the convoluted levels and teleporters? The whole Chernobyl NPP level becomes this for some dumb reason. So do a few other levels too. I don't really get what's with Stalker mods and their need to make labyrinth like levels, which the base game is bad for, but not so much. Like I said too mods decide that a game about survival where supplies are at a premium should spawn tons of enemies as well. The same with Fallout mods too I suppose. I prefer games where enemies are at a premium though. Sure they'll still kill you quickly, but there isn't like forty of them. ...And that if that NPC can shoot you endlessly for ten minutes, if I happen to kill him immediately then when I loot him I'd like to see a million rounds rather than one or two.

So another "good" Stalker mod ticked off. Hmn, I don't think I have many of these left. I think I really should just play Call of Pripyat with more weapons and artifacts added (though not the Misery mod!) and no other changes, because these modders have no clue about balancing and maintaining the game's atmosphere (Misery was terrible for that, it tries to keep the survival feel, then dumps 100 enemies at story locations where before there was like 10...).

Also, its dangerous to go alone. Take this!

Also, I advise using the OpenXcom mod.
It fixes a lot of bugs, and adds some nice features.

I enjoyed Titanfall, but it got old real fast for me. Just not enough variety, and once you've hit the top level and unlocked all the options....oh, I can reset back to level 1 and do it all again for bragging rights? No, thank you.

Anyway, finally got around to buying GTA5 and just started playing it yesterday. Seems fun so far. It's kinda sad where the graphics can be really good overall, and then you come to certain spots where the artists just phoned it in from the early 2000s (the car wash animation, ugh).

I can't say I remember any parts where GTA V graphics are bad, but then again I tend not to go to the car wash or anything of the like. If I did have to pick one, it'd be the animals, like make some of them (cougar and shark come to mind) a little better, but I'm probably accidentally missing those parts. I wouldn't doubt that honestly.

Anyways, GTA V was a good game, online has some cool features as well to keep you playing.

I also got into Killing Floor now, and am pretty impressed with it. Patriarch can be a pushover, just duel hand cannons point blank.
