Total War: Atilla - Age of Charlemagne.

Currently playing as Kingdom of Mercia, I have little over half of England conquered, with a full stack army on the way up to finish the job. I like Mercia's bonuses as it makes a longer campaign in hostile territory easier, doubling the amount of prisoners that join after a victorious battle.

I may have to bring the northern invasion army back down south, or at least middle of England, as the Kingdom of the Danes has two fleets near my coast. If they are focused on tomfoolery, I'll focus on them, then get back to subduing the Isles, then launch a counter invasion and knock the Danes down a peg. They have a sizeable ally directly to their south, and it takes my armies awhile to sail, so I'll have to go big or not at all.

After that, if Charlemagne's Frankish superpower empire remains peaceful and profitable, I intend to strike at the Emirate of Cordoba and its Muslim vassal kingdoms in Spain, and help out the Asturians with driving the Muslims out of Europe. That will give me a base to then launch a pincer invasion into mainland Europe when I turn against Charlemagne, if he doesn't first.

Fun expansion and fairly challenging.

Picked up Company of Heroes. I'm more of a fan of Dawn of War personally, even though both games were made by the same company, but I like some of the gameplay aspects. Being able to build defensive structures anywhere you controlled territory was pretty cool, and I liked how it was slightly less of an arms race like Dawn of War. Only thing I didn't like was the fact you could only play as the US and Britain, but it's still pretty cool.

Also, I've been looking into getting Mass Effect 3 for PC through Origin, but I can't seem to find any of the DLC there. Anyone know if they removed it?

You should be able to play as the Wehrmacht and Panzer Elite as well. - I've not heard of any version of the game that restricts your faction choice to either Allies or Axis.

To be honest, I massively prefer COH's gameplay to any of the Dawn of War games. It was just the perfect scale.

Fallout 4 mostly, although I think I've burned out on it recently.

Been playing co-op in Divinity: OS with the wife on the Xbone - outside of some really frustrating design choices, the game is remarkably fun.

I suspect that it's purchased from within the game itself. But you should probably double-check that. I played the Xbox version, and ended up not buying any of the DLC besides the one that came with the Digital Deluxe version that I purchased. So I'm not entirely certain how the PC users are supposed to handle it.

It's fething depressing watching Leinster now, like that Toulouse game a few days ago was a bloody shocker. And the 8-5 game against Ulster was probably one of the shittest displays of sports I've ever had the misfortune of watching, and I used to play football as a 6 year old and do Power Rangers moves that I saw on TV.

At least Saints aren't embarrassing themselves (well, too much anyway, not too sure about the Racing game )

Anyhow, I can really understand how a team losing one of it's key players can really hurt it's performances until they manage to adapt to his absence (talking BOD here of course).

Still playing War for the Overworld.

Pretty fun, so far. Mission difficulty is a bit off though in the campaign - some missions are a total walkover, and others are really hard due to the set up.

The campaign actually has a PLOT that goes a bit further than "Be Evil, Conquer the World".

One thing I find frustrating is that I've played 10 missions and this was the first time I felt like I could build my dungeon as I wanted without environmental limitations like large amounts of rock, water or empty space. Another peeve is not being able to wander around your dungeon after you've won the mission it ends rather abruptly. A "press blah to end" function would have been nice. I like to be really thorough in my conquering!

Classic Carter As a supporter of the Wallabies, it's nice seeing the northern hemisphere suffer outside of the World Cup years!

Yeah, it kinda blows, but we've got guys like Sean O'Brien, Jamie Heaslip, Ian Madigan and Sexton - you'd think that they'd be able to do something decent with them! Alas, Sexton's gak at the moment, and you get the Toulon/Wasps result.

Eldar are bs.
The Avatar should not have an instant kill AoE ability that can almost reach the nearest spawn point from the edge of the arena.

Like wise, the Farseer should not have an attack that instantly kills your squad with no warning.

Beat the first Mass Effect game in my third yearly playthrough of the series. Thought I'd also look for the DLC that I got with Mass Effect 2, and found it was pretty tough to track down the DLC I got. Doesn't help I have the steam versions of both ME1 and ME2, and this is my first tike playing them on PC, so playing scavenger hunt with the Bioware site was pretty tough.
I also like how my PC that has trouble loading games with good graphics can somehow run ME2 much better than ME1.

Dusted of Skyrim again after a few years and have sunk a few hours into it. I've yet to play the thief or assasin Guilds so there's stuff to do and it's nice to be back in the nord atmosphere.

His pattern of returning alive after being declared dead occurred often enough during Cain's career that the Munitorum made a special ruling that Ciaphas Cain is to never be considered dead, despite evidence to the contrary.

The thieves guild was probably the biggest disappointment for me. Didn't feel fully fleshed out. But there are mods that help.

Did a bit of Starbound. The new update for combat is pretty cool. I made a new character who is a novakid based off of Andrew Jackson. (Named Hydro Jettison, it's the best pun I could come up with). I'm currently shooting any alien I meet, and having a great time doing it.

What exactly gets imported from the DoW2 save?
I looked around and its never clear.

I know that levels and traits get carried over, but what about equipment? Is it only the stuff I have equipped?
Does that mean I have to dress everyone in terminator armor?

Funny how Eldar are OP even in the DoW series. Man if you ever played against them when they released the avatar of khaine and got a pop cap boost as well as production boost. Super lame. Tau and necrons were also bad. Funny how it's exactly like the tabletop game in that respect :(.

IIRC the level of your characters and all your wargear (Including non equipped stuff) gets carried over. All your terminator equipment gets "broken" though and will not be available untill after a while into the compaing. So there's really no reason to go after all the terminator suits.

Then there's the webway gate mess from Dark Crusade. There was one area especially, the northern one between both the Eldar and Blood Ravens strongholds. Problem was, this area was us big, you could spend as long as 3 hours (longest for me was 5) hunting bonesingers and invisible bases (since webway gates could cloak buildings.
Of course, it's also a lot of fun to use this tactic on a CPU enemy. Watching them blunder about while your base is on an almost unreachable roof can make for some one-sided games.

Did a bit more of Starbound. Just finished the Floran Party, and it was cool to see that it's a bit more explained in game on what's happening. Now I need to get some resources and fight the mech.

I also started the DC campaign, this time as the necrons. I could never get around to beating it as them, I find playing them repeatedly a bit tedious. I loved playing through it as orks though, I gladly beat the snot out of every race as the orks.

Oh yeah I remember. Don't even get me started how their tech levels were researched like tau meaning you could destroy their HQ and they'd still be at tier 3-4. You basically wanted to kill their stupid tier researching building which had a crap ton of health. They could also teleport bases and troops between webway gates. Not only that but their builders could teleport a super long distance and build webway gates meaning on certain maps getting a base made behind yours and taking a force in the bum was very possible and in big maps playing 'hunt the webway gates/bonesinger' was a pain and refuge of the sore loser eldar players.

Necrons were slow but hard to stop and could keep rebuilding guys. Their base soldier had a gajillion upgrades to make them insanely durable and potent at shooting too.

Then you had to deal with tau which could viably attack you with a mostly cloaked force and have fire warriors with such long range they could shoot without being spotted mostly. Worst of all were those stupid broadsides as an IG player it was rough to face. Yes their weakness is melee and it's too bad we didn't have much besides the assassin to kill them.

I like how orks final tier spam boyz for free upgrade was fun but if you lived to that point it was mostly just for laughs and didn't do much besides hold the enemy at bay. If you were on the losing end it often wouldn't save you. Then again I didn't play dark crusade too much. Winter assault was my main game for a while mostly due to playing imperial guard.

I find it crazy how long it took for the basilisk to shoot earthshaker rounds and it cost a crap ton per round. Meanwhile tau got that rocket spam that was almost as good and shorter range but much quicker at firing.

So, just got burnt out on Marvel heroes and just cause 3, plus fallout 4.

Just cause 3 wasn't the best game I anticipated either. The stupid spawning system is really annoying, and lack of either a minimap or health bar really kills the game as well. I understand why they did it, but I can't play as good as I used to with Just cause 2.

Fallout 4 I've hit level 25 now, and finding quests a bit tricky to find., going to go with the brotherhood, as the minutemen are too lovely dovey, the railround is just too aggravating, and I'm not into letting robotics fester as the institute.

The new weapons and abilities are great. I've found assault rifles that I actually like, compared to before, where I never used them. Flashlights on shotguns is nice too for cave clearing and the like.

Stealth was just completely broken in that game. Invisible Chaos Marines, Invisible Tau that could cap you stratigic points without any worries what so ever. (By stratigic points I mean the ones you can't build a watchpost on) Elar and invis everything!

Tau I found are awesome at defense but are no so great at offense. Broadsides need a spot where they can't be flanked to be at their best.
That said, using 2 Squads of Broadsides, 2 Missiles gunships, and 3 Units of Fire Warriors I defeated a full Space Marine attack. Including the Land Raider and all of their heroes.

All in all, Orks were too weak, Eldar too strong, and Stealth incredibly broken

As to what I've been playing, I tried out Unturned, Eh, It's okay. But I just don't think it's for me.

Downloaded heroes of might and magic 6. It's pretty good, gonna keep playing it until I get my hands on Fallout 4 in about a week.

Currently downloading Blood Bowl 2. We'll see how that turns out

Well, I did some more Starbound. This time I focused on making a colony on an ocean world. One house still spawns monsters despite everything I do to change it. I don't know what's wrong with it, when a house so similar to it is completely fine.

I also found a way to make an air lock for underwater mining facilities. My current one is hilariously unrealistic. Maybe in the future I will make one more realistic, but for now my wooden doors remain strong.
