Been playing a lot of Smite lately. Tried out several game modes, but like many MOBA games it will probably take some getting used to as far as what items each god should take.

Well, I run virtual machines, and on a 40GB Windows 8.1 Virtual Machine, I am playing LCARS Trek. Here's the link to it.

Planning to get a start on X-Com: UFO Defence. I like how the classic games and the remakes are different enough in gameplay that they sort of are like separate games entirely.

Don't worry, I'm much the same with EA's shooters

Star Wars Battlefront and Fallout 4. I've been enjoying Battlefront, though I wish my Internet could be more reliable so I could play the bigger gamemodes. I mostly play Heroes VS Villains and also Hero Hunt. Getting Boba Fett on Endor is rather entertaining.

I've picked up X-com enemy within and been playing that for a while but so far I havn't gotten any exalt missions... maybe because that guy I had to escort got killed? anyways have two big mec troopers "Sir Tanksalot" and "big Momma" who have become a staple in my squads. Should probably add a new mec soon...

Also, Bouncing between that and Rome II total war. God do I love roman things. so far I destroyed at least 7 different cultures on a whim and my empire is continuing to grow. My last war I took three different cities in one turn, so fun times have been had by all. =D

May be getting a bit too much into Undertale but,

Nearly done with legend of heroes trails in the sky. Been really fun. Boss fights have been interesting, this last one was practically impossible... Wasn't in real danger of getting wiped out, but the boss was quite happy to full heal frequently, had to bank up everyone's supermoves and chain everything in exactly the right order. But tough boss fights are good. In the last dungeon area now and I swear I'm gonna have PTSD regarding treasure chests....there has ways been a high instance of monsters spawning to guard chests but in here they're 2/3 of the time and nearly as hard as boss fights. Gotta save the game before I open any loot!


If I were to chase down a pokemon game to play, what's the ' best' one in terms of features and playability? I played most of yellow back a year or two ago and thought I may seek another out to fill the gap being done with FFT:WotL is leaving.

It seems that the DOTA 2 and LOL communities are finally starting to play Heroes of the Storm.

Die covering the retreat of your entire team because your tank refuses to; "noob sylv" (as quoted by the tank)

On to the next game. Capture the alters? Sure, I make my way to where the alter will spawn. Oh, nice, another guy. In come three enemies and the guy just waits and lets me die without doing a thing before running away. Game nears the end (we're losing), the guy with the lowest damage on everything and the lowest XP, whom did hardly a thing: "gg noob team"

I don't know why I bother playing these games anymore.

You can always leave teamchat (it's not like you need it as Sylvanas...), and reporting them for abusive chat does silence them as well.

Also, I ran some numbers for fun.

In Eternal Crusade, killing someone at close range with the bolter takes a heartbeat, a couple of seconds at most. You are incredibly fragile.

In the Space Marine campaign, the Chaos Space Marine mooks you kill many of during the game are quite a lot tougher. Assuming close range, with no headshots, it takes about 67 bolt rounds to down one. That is almost nine seconds of continous fire, not including reloads.

The difference is completely absurd and a large part of why I really struggle to like Eternal Crusade. You die by far too quickly.

Maybe everyone is using Vengeance rounds.

Even then you shouldn't die faster than you die to plasma fire in Space Marine, but you do!

Heard about Sega's Make War Not Love campaign on Steam. Looks like buying DOW Retribution is starting to pay off.

To be fair, in "reality" SMs die damn quick to plasma fire, so that's on the other end of the spectrum. I find SM generally in-between, in most stuff.

Had to scrap my PC to sell some parts for some money to pay for debts so mostly tablet gaming now.

Played a mission in Space Wolves. Pretty fun. Reminds me of Metal Gear Acid on the PSP.

Downloaded Deathwatch (free app of the week!) and Freeblade. Will try those tomorrow.

I lost track of where I was on all my old characters and how I was playing them, so I deleted all 5 of my old saved game characters and now I'm doing a playthrough of Pillars of Eternity again, as The White March Part 2 is out. Can't wait to go up against the new enemy!

Currently trying to battle my way out of division 4 in Bloodbowl. Eeeek, even small errors can cost you big time! The computer also seems to pull off some crazy chain rolls when needed
I need to win my 3 remaining games to get promoted.....

Found a mod/hack for a pokemon game called light platinum. It's being fairly entertaining. Sure, my Raichu has to learn all of his moves from training machines because I evolved him at level five...but his stat growth has been ridiculous

Have you ever heard of Vietnamese Crystal? It's a bootleg of Pokemon Crystal, but with translations that are so bad, it's outright hilarious.

Hah, this one is supposed to be long but if I still feel like playing more when it's done..may have to look that up. Humor is good.

The Division open beta. It's a bit limited right now, but it's looking good. The Dark zone has quite a bit of annoying dickery going on with players running in front of hostile A.I. in the hopes of getting hit so you turn rogue, so I'll be avoiding that bit of the game for sure.

But other than that, enjoyable.

The Dark Zone is where you get the best loot, though...

I've played a bit of the Beta as well. Not impressed, but it's not bad either.

From what I've played of the Division its OK. Nothing special just ok
