Decided to start a new game of Mass Effect. I've still only played through the first game once, time to change that.

Went ahead and bought Starpoint Gemini 2 while it was on sale on Steam. I'm pretty well hooked! The dialogue is utter garbage, but the graphics and gameplay is pretty amazing!

Got into Stardew Valley. Really enjoying myself.

Still having a blast with Eve again. The latest war has kicked off and everyone is getting in on it. The Battle of M-OEE8 saw 3500 players commit to the field of battle. We have broken the record for most ships killed in a single day twice now.

World War Bee is a great time for new players to join the game and kill stuff. Even a brand new player can fly out and link up with a group and start killing.

In 3 weeks time I have helped destroy roughly $5000 (340 BILLION isk) worth of enemy assets.

Letting Fallout 4 suck what little time I have before Dark Souls 3 completely consumes me.

Got a lot to do, but afterwards going to download the Dawn of War: Ultimate Apocalypse mod. Makes getting Soulstorm worth it.

So, any of you who've played Morrowind... I'm a little stuck on the Redoran quest line.

You can check it out on my YouTube channel- but the basic gist is that I'm on the 'search and rescue' person-fetching quest- the one where the dude gets lost in a Blightstorm between Ald Ruhn, Mar Gan and Gnissis somewhere. And I have no idea where he is. I've canvassed the area between those places a bunch, and not even found a mine, cave or tomb where he could be hiding.

Have you talked to the citizens/guards in each of those towns for dialogue option hints?

Some people that leave messages are helpful though. Others tell you to jump off a cliff quite literally though (imagining this in the 'Indiana jones' led by faith and not by sight thing) and are just trying to be *** hats.

Oh and 'Gorgeous view' and 'awesome chest ahead!' when referring to that hot chick lady's boobs.

(Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst has got me a bit peeved)

So yeah, I'm actually playing Dark Souls now. However, I'm gong to have to fiddle with the mouse-enabling mods a little, since I'm still stuck with pure keyboard controls. It wouldn't even be so bad if the tooltips and stuff gave the keybindings instead of the xbox control buttons. But when I have to figure out that "B" is actually the spacebar and "A" is R.Shift+Q, things get weird.

Did a ranked game in R6S. My profile now says I have a 1.0 win ratio and 4.5 kill/death ratio

EEeyup. Apparently the mouse look isn't enabled by default. Not sure why.

I don't think I could have stuck the game out without a controller. People told me to get one to play it and they were totally right.

Fighting a particular dragon right now. Mo' Fo' is hard, but this feels like a proper boss fight again. I know I can learn his moves with enough deaths and get into sync if I face him some day when I'm not tired (so not a weekday!). That's a good feeling.

Pretty nasty moveset though. I've gotten too used to tanking with my Havel's armour and crazy good vit, it's made me sloppy. Need to git gud at dodging and timing again.

I tanked straight through two of the Lords.

I accidentally killed an NPC though. I thought she was one of those weird Dark-Goo forms you find and hit her before I realised my mistake. She went apeshit on me, but she also cussed me out for being Human, so I assume she wasn't? Dunno who she was but she seemed to be a fan of Big A.

Nearly done with this game though. I think I've got a hydra, whatever is in the Abyss, and the final boss left.

Great experience, and the DLC is totally worth playing through really redeemed the endgame for me as there's a couple of poopy areas right at the end.

Yep, DLC is awesome. Kalameet is the hardest boss in the game, by far with instant KOs for many builds. Very rewarding fight, though.

Got crushed by the Asylum Demon- that's about as far as I've gotten.

I'm actually running a Monk right now- I figured the extra healing would be useful, but so far I haven't managed to use any of it.

Playing Battlefleet Gothic, so far its good, but I cant wait for more options honestly, especially something besides 1vs1.

More R6S for me. Glad is great fun on Chalet when the objective is surrounded by windows. Got 2 kills and 3 wounded and kill assists in a single round, didn't even get off the platform I lay on and it was 2 vs 5 almost as soon as my team entered the building. Blitz carefully approached the room, I picked off the people moving towards him

Eh, S&O and the first Kapra demon both gave me more trouble with my initial encounters. Then again, by the time I got to Kalameet I was properly tricked out.

act of war aggression, I got it as I liked Wargame and its sucessors, but I'm not like this, I prefer the grander strategy rather than the base building.

It's a fun game. I know 'act of aggression' is a lot like 'act of war' or at least seems to be. I might go back and play it at some point. It's sad how well wargame: red dragon does in comparison. In comparison to Red Dragon still being fairly popular last I saw Act of Aggression declined in popularity to the point almost nobody played it online within mere months far as I could tell. It's sad as it's not a bad game but for whatever reason the popularity wasn't there. Perhaps it's because they didn't advertise it much.

Anyway base building isn't too bad but building workers or at least gatherers has never really been needed. It's a mechanic that needs to die in RTS games. Resources need to be on the backburner. As long as you're collecting resources it needs to be fairly low in complexity.

@Soladrin: Wow did you beat Ornstein and Smough in 'dark souls' too? I gave up at that point myself. Played it a gajillion times and that duo just burned me out. Got close but it just didn't work out. Also playing it on the poorly ported PC version was awful. You know it's a bad port when all the controls and highlighted buttons are xbox controller buttons.

I suspect that Act of Aggression didn't do as well because people weren't expecting it to be a C&C-style RTS. I know that they had a game like it in the past. But after R.U.S.E. and the three Wargame games, they had a reputation for making non-standard RTS games. Act of Aggression is a throwback, and as a result it probably wasn't what its buyers were looking for.


Finished the third Nova mission last night in the StarCraft II expansion pack. Nova with an energy sword - Yeah! Achievement that says that you can't kill anyone after you pick up the energy sword - Boo!

I've been stuck on Team Fortress 2 A LOT lately. Not sure why, but I love that damn game, even though I'm really bad at it.

Enjoyed the Necron Overlord for DoW2: Ret too, guy is remarkably durable.
