Well, it's nice that they're selling the tracks separately, at least. Seems to me you could clip off the flat wall off the back and HEY presto, you can now make that the front . Right?

You might even be able to flip around the cannon in that case. Really, looks like a pretty simple conversion to me. I hope they put out a chassis without the cannon and then I might even give it a go.

But they know we're all waiting for the gunship and just having fun with us at this point...!

I think there is huge potential for those tracks. I think they could easily be reversed. Great price as well.

Yes I think as a chassis it has a lot of potential, after all we like building the cabin sections of tanks but finding tracks are a pain

I think a few of these will be bought in the new year, sorry guys you will have to wait for my money

I want to see a tank in the same style as the bikes, mini flyer and the soon (hopefully!) to be released VTOL. As it is, this one as well as being built backwards is just a bit to similar to FW and GW kits. I preferred it when they released all those more unique kits, I hope we can see something like that coming along soon!

So the 'tractor' is really just the 'Big Momma' kit minus the OTT gun and hull roof? Great for everyone wanting the track bits for their own conversions, but I'd kind of expected a replacement hull top to make a sensible complete tractor. Then again, are there any suitable heavy cargo trailers available for it to tow?

Yes, I really hope someone makes a reversed 'Big Momma', if only to embarrass Puppets War into doing one themselves

Hmmm...I hope the release more filler bits for those tracks. Im not a fan of the huge cannon, but the track unit has potential for other vehicles.

Yeah i'm liking it too, but not the way its pointing (if we believe that the big momma is pointing forwards), I much prefer the back as the front if you get my meaning, kinda like a smaller malcador type tank.

The more i look at it like this the more i want slap a chimera top plate and forward hull to it to see what it looks like, could make a cool chim for Valhallans or DKoK

Where's my gunship?!

Not that I'm definitely going to pick one up or anything, but I'm really curious about it. It's one of those models that's almost cool enough to buy just because.

All this drama about reversing the tracks! Just looks at the components.

Looks like you can pretty much just glue the crew compartment in backwards and you're done.

The tank is still backwards.

Nice that the tracks are part of the side. Nothing is worse than gluing on individual resin tracks.

It's similar to actual British WWI tanks. GW uses them for inspiration just as much as the Puppet guys.

That's not the point I was trying to make. I was only wishing they had stuck with a more clean sci-fi look, not that there is anything wrong with the design it just doesn't fit with the other kits.

I wonder if those tracks fit a Russ hull. It would be a very good alternative to make some Malcarusses while still keeping them affordable. Some plasticard, those tracks and the seperate Russ hull you can still get in GW direct should result in a pretty good looking alternative Battle Tank.

Think I'll get some of those tracks to try it out as soon as the flyer hits the store. As really, that is what I want most, 2 or 3 counts as Vultures for my poor flyer-less guard army.

Ah bah, now I want to make a valhallan detachment with tanks on these tracks. Too many possibilities

I'm guessing some additional plasticard work would also be needed, e.g. possibly the standard Russ Hull is a little too short? - hard to tell from the photos - but otherwise this sounds like a great (if expensive) idea.

I'm loving that chassis!

If there is a wide variety of top/weapon options on that chassis for the current USD price of $35, it'll be awesome!

Well, it'll be a damn sight cheaper than doing it the traditional way which means chopping up a Malcador to get the Malcaruss. Judging from the measurements given it should be possible, i think, It'll require some plasticard as you said but I reckon it might have a very good lookign result compared to a standard russ.
