Ah, thanks to all who answered. It's curious that he's modelled with the big guns (plural) on his back while he uses his SMG looking gun and machete on all the pics (both of the model and concept art). Is his pilot (assuming there is one in there and he's not an autonomous robot) that cool that he only busts out the big guns for special occasions/birthdays/battles? Base model looks cool regardless.

It's... it's so beautiful *sniffle*. Can't wait to get my hand on that spec ops. Time to but my magnetization and sculpting skills to the challenge.

It's a panzerfaust, which is a disposable 2 uses Rocket Launcher. Some even tho it's small, it packs quite a punch.
But I agree he would look even more badass by dual wielding the big guns.
I like the model but would have prefered if it looked more like the art.

Yeah, as a long-time Appleseed fan, the artwork for Scarface and Cordelia was about to tip my decision to finally break into Infinity. But with the models being as 'meh' as they are, I have, sadly, stepped away from the brink.

Because of one model that looks pretty damn close to the artwork?

I think you'll eventually come around though - the line and the game are hard to resist for long!

About the Spec Ops: for me the Ariadna & Haqqislam ones are the only "must have asap" sculpts.

Especially the Ariadna one is a stunning miniature

The rest is nice, but I probably will only buy them if I need them for gaming purposes.

Having a supportive on-line community is great, but the locals. Oy vey, getting a game in with those horrible witches is going to be a hassle.

I have been buying my stuff at Gamersofthewest in Rotterdam so far, and I have encountered none of that.

The new game store in Leiden might start carrying the game too once they have gotten up and running (the owner wants a steady 40K/WHF & Warmachine/Hordes player base first before adding another such game).

It's just the miniatures that will be put in new support pack boxed sets. I realized that only after I already posted
