I normally would call things like that out if this were the case...

But I'm not seeing it. The only thing I dislike about the Corax is that huge sword. It looks stupid for what's obviously intended to be an "assassin" like character. It should have been a dagger/knife, not a sword.

On another note:
The Warstore has just gotten the SpecOps models in stock. They'll likely start shipping tomorrow or Monday.
The books are not in yet, however.

I think it looks awesome, can't wait to see it with some paint on it! I guess you could sub out the sword for a knife, but I think you might alter the balance somewhat of the mini if you did so.

Really? It's like she was showing everyone she can sway her hips to the music, "just like this, are you looking, you should look, I'm really good at it".

I like pinup models, but Infinity can't decide if it wants to be serious (male models), or Soda Pop (female models).

Well, I think for the most part it is trying to cater to both. Although having said that, I don't think the two aesthetics are mutually exclusive - a lot of Japanese Anime for example mixes more (sometimes overtly) sexualised girls (and guys for that matter!), but with a more hardcore sci-fi vibe. Take for example stuff like Appleseed, Ghost in the Shell, AD Police - there are many more, and in reality I think that kind of style is a genre all by itself.

But at the same time at least for the most part you have the choice of buying models which can 'fit' a particular aesthetic, and it's fairly easy to make a force that includes all different styles but so they don't look out of place. I've got the Daktari 'cat doctor' for example for the Nomads, which is surely along one extreme, but also alongside the Nomad tomcats (who are really 'sci-fi' - think the robot police from the new Total Recall movie). Just on their own, they might look a little out of place, but by including a model that sits in-between those two styles such as a Zero you can make the overall look of the force look similar.

So yeah, I think there is room for both!

Wow amazing paint job! Lot quite different in that colour scheme, with less fallow looking skin, they look a lot more 'alien' (or though I found the other scheme perhaps a bit more disconcerting?)

I'm with you, loving the Corax and waiting not-so-very patiently for info regarding what options there'll be. However, I really like the fact that she has EVERYTHING in her backpack. I mean, if small Shasvastii forces are meant to survive all by themselves for unlimited amounts of time, then surely their Spec-ops must be able to go all by herself deep in enemy territory for at least just as long. And for that purpose you need all the right tools, ergo a huge backpack!
That's how I see it anyway.

Darn weekend! How am I supposed to see this stuff!

Corax looks awesome! I do not see go-go dancer at all. Movement yes. Many Infinity figs have some kind of action to them. I'd rather go-go dancer than a static glamor shot pose.

@VS thanks for posting the art. I can't wait for that.

Do we know when the Corax is supposed to hit the shelves, other than just September?

I dig it, and I think it will make a nice Speculo.

Indeed she will make a really nice Speculo or two.

Easily she has the modifications so she can be a nice stand in for Speculo, I am eagerly waiting for the extra to see her conversion possibilities, but I expect some really good conversions to show up quite soon.

Strangely, the Corax has me more hyped for my SEF than the Vortex has got me for my Bakunin.
Sadly, I don't think I can use her as my LT every time. Would get a little too obvious after a while.

My though too, as I don't think we will get a new Speculo model any time soon as there only 1 loadout. Big plus if the Corax can use XP to get the Speculo abilities.
