Really like those Briscards, there is something very old fashioned looking about them! Can't quite put my finger on what it is, but whatever I think the French faction for Araidna have some of the nicest models going now in between these, the Merovingian pack and Loup Garos they released before.
That Yu Jing hacker is gorgeous as well - again interesting to see the difference in style and design aesthetic between that model and the Nomad. The former being very understated, the latter much more of a 'Wooooo look at me! I'm the best!' I guess whatever floats your boat

I forgot to do an "actual" review rather than just kneejerk at the Wildcat.
Briscards: Fantastic. They look very professional, they look similar without being carbon copies, and they have a good spread of equipment.
Celestial Guard Hacker: I like. That's a good hacking pose and I hope we see more of it.
Wildcat with HRL: *glare* It's the jackpot of things I hate. I'm starting to wonder if Corvus Belli considers rocket launchers as fashion accessories rather than weapons, because almost none of the RL equipped models are actually posed like they're firing the damn things.
ALEPH Support Pack: Excellent thing; if only it had been released sooner.
Gao-Rael with Spitfire: I like. It may be an overused pose, but it's a good one and it works here with his offhand machete.

I actually like the pose but feel that it doesn't fit with a Wildcat. It's a rockstar pose acknowledging your fans, or challenging your opponent. An Lhost that's used for showfights will fit that pose more, I think.
I also like the pointing Briscard.

I'm happy with all of them.
#1 the CG Hacker. I need him and it's really good.
#2 The Wildcat great to me. I love it FOR the pointing finger. Like she's Babe Ruth pointing out a home run. I think the thing about the drain pipe arm is nit picking and it's probably closer to reality than you think with that material she's wearing.
#3 Briscards. I love the beards. I'd love to see them in a white winter camo pattern.
#4 Gao-Rael. he's pretty cool but still doesn't do it for me. Yes the wildcat is not holding the HRL with both hands but then neither is he with a spitfire.

To be absolutely fair, we've already had the discussion on Spitfires being held one handed.
There's actually a somewhat reasonable possible explanation given that a Spitfire is an "assaulty" weapon and most of the models holding/firing them one handed are wearing some form of powered armor--of which Symbiotic Armor is an example.

I hate to break it to you, but this isn't like the "Finecast" issue. This would not have been problems with miscasts, etc.
This would have been problems like the model would not actually cast correctly. It would be something like the old Inquisitor 54mm Vindicare Sniper, which was tearing the molds apart every 20 or so castings.

Ya.. I kinda skipped those posts because of the new stuff I'm sure there's plenty of good reasons, but when almost all of the figs with a spitfire are not holding it with two hands, it bugs me. I took a quick look and found only 3 out of all of them that have come out.

Fantastic new releases.
Personally I like how wildcat is, no issue with the HRL, I really doubt it is that heavy with meta materials, composites and micro missiles the load cannot be that big, the pose on the other hand is fantastic, i think it follows a trend were missile and rocket equipped models seem to enjoy their kills.

If you said the trend was "overbalanced and silly poses for missile and rocket equipped models", you'd be right.
As it is the Wildcat HRL is just another poor "I GOT YOU!" pose combined with a fashion statement of the new Nomad "Heavy Rocket Launcher Spring Collection"
And just to make it clear here:
The Wildcat is awful. Awful. Awful. AWFUL.
They could not pay me to use that model.

Where to start...
They're almost exclusively on female models, they're almost always accompanied by some ridiculous bit which delineates them even further from their male counterparts (Naga Sniper v. Hacker), and they are almost always done in such a way that they are virtually unconvertable.
Try converting the Naga Sniper so that she doesn't suck sometime. You'll end up wasting the model since they decided to actually have her hair attached to the gun, along with the backpack.

I really liek the wildcat model, only gripe is it doesn't feel like Corregidor. Paint it white and it's be a great bakuinin model. Take off the hair and it feels right, which is perfect since that hair will look great on riot grrls

One problem with the wildcat's arm is the placement of the shoulder pad, and the elbow pad. Visually, they remove the joints and accentuate the curved, boneless appearance. The "ribbing" doesn't help. The ribs should have been horizontal and vertical, with a sharp transition at the elbow. Instead, they slowly curve during the whole arm, like spokes on a wheel. If it hadn't been painted with such high contrast, with almost white highlights on a black background, it would have been much less obvious.
But overall I like them all, especially the Yu Jing hacker.

No, they just are masters of weapon technology. There the only human faction able to make Autocannon a infantry weapons, do to there recoil improvements and micro technology.

It's more likely because they're the only human faction which doesn't have access to MULTI HMGs or HMCs...

I prefer to think of it the same way Noir does, with Ariadna being the secretly super high-tech faction EDIT: On a less jokey point, one of the reasons i love the Tankhunter model so much is because he has both hands on the gun and looks like he means business...none of this one handed assault weapon rubbish with the Spitfire (even though the answer given makes sense, dont start! ), or the RL/HRL poses that do seem to be becoming a trend...not a bad thing for the Sekhban as he pulls it off, but i dont think the Agema, Wildcat, or even the Briscard really manage it completely (thankfully the rest of the model easily makes up for it with the Briscard IMO)
