I do not see these changes, I do see the extra merc troops though, they should be rightfully there.

Bashi Bazouks and Kempeitai have been there for a while - I remember seeing them when I was looking for a mercenary for my paradiso campaign more than a month ago.

Authorized Bounty Hunters (ISC: Authorized Bounty Hunters) are allowed in all the human Generic Armies. In other words, they are not permitted in the sectorial armies, the Combined Army and the Tohaa.

While CA and Tohaa might feel left out of the loop ( good reasons for it, fluff wise )

Spec Ops ITS mode. Like the classic one, but allowing the players to use a Spec Ops with 12xp and who will not gain more experience.

Smart way to give people more chances to use some awesome miniatures. I like it.

Those ITS scenarios are really well-rounded: less tech-specific than the Paradiso ones. Ariadna/Tohaa will have more options for these.

The Classified Objectives are definitely descended from YAMS/TAOS etc. I like 'em.

Also, it's interesting that you are allowed to extract Supply Boxes as an ARO in the first scenario. That's an ARO that will have nothing to do with the enemy fig triggering it. While it's cool (frantically searching for supplies while the enemy is shooting at you), it does take the ARO rules in kind of an unprecedented direction.

Oh, and I agree with Erasoteka and VonSkyfury: Generic lists need a little boost to keep up with the power of linked teams. The availability of a wider selection of troops in general has always been that balance.

I play ISS a lot. They get a bountyhunter that's not in the vanilla YJ list (Lucien Sforza, who is PURE AWESOME for very few points). So there's plenty of precedence for things being available one way and not the other.

A Face to Face Roll is made, using each Lieutenant’s WIP. Players are not forced to reveal the WIP of their Lieutenant so as not to betray their identity (which is Private Information). Players
need only disclose the result of their roll and whether or not it was successful. Players must also inform their opponents whether their Lieutenant has the Strategos Special Skill, and at what level.

Points Cost and SWC are not part of your Army List. Only the Referee needs to know your lists' Point Cost and SWC (to check if the list is valid) but that information is not meant to be part of your army list while you play.

For those planning to attend the Feast of Blades Infinity Grand Tournament stay tuned. I need to read over the missions a few (hundred) times and make the call. Most likely however we will fully adhere to this tournament format.

I would like them to open the other way too, Bureu Aegis, O-12 operatives. This are some designs by Bostria IIRC:

O-12 is getting models... dope.

I think O-12 should get a full "peace keeping" force with new troop types.

Possibly with some sort of penalty/counter to all those nasty weapons that they're supposed to really not want you to use?

What about having some kind of campaign where the number of 'banned' weapons used in one game increases the chances of an O-12 interdiction force turning up and stomping them in the next game? Like a .. squad of TAGs armed with combi-rifles or something ?


Love the idea of the bounty hunters! Although that D20 roll will make it difficult to model them effectively.

I think it begs some clarification, these are old art done for a campaign the french forum did back in the 2009, not "official" by any means.

It will be interesting if Infinity ever gets big enough to make a game (or even an anime or something) viable? Or perhaps it wouldn't even need that; the game universe is pretty evocative, and CB doesn't seem to squeamish about making relationships with others with it. Perhaps it is something a game studio might want to pick up?
