They're roughly in scale but two of the sculpts(Multirifle and HMG) suffer from "Derpynamic Posing" at this point.

We do not know. It might even be that they will be part of a non-PanOceania Sectorial when we get to "Acheron Falls" and the supposed invasion of Earth.
Truth be told I was surprised they were not part of Neoterra, but they might be part of Svarlheima(Orcs and Nisses would give you a bit more 'Nordic theme' for the Sectorial).

I've noticed there is a lot of love for the Maghariba Guard Pilot but she is actually my least favourite in the line so far. Doesn't work for me much at all.
The PanO Tech looks rather uncomfortable as well which is a shame because I love the idea. I'm hoping it's just an issue with the photograph.
I really like the O-Yoroi Pilot, it's pin up but it's also quite a real situation. You get a snapshot of her preparing for battle, or maybe her leaving, and you get the hot-chick-straddling-a-motorbike style calender shot all rolled into one. This, for me, is Infinity.
The Lizzy Pilot is funky too, she'll no doubt find her way into my Heralds eventually, Probably as a moderator instead.
The frame of Scarface is a little unusual but the model is slick and it's a painters wet dream.
I hope the miniatures are all very detached from the stuff around them so they can be plundered easily.

Having the multirifle ORC in hand right now I can say that 'derpynamic posing' is an understatement. it's not anywhere near as bad as the croc in the starter but it's pretty bad, still.

Come to think of it, that entire starter (and most fusilliers along with it) is pretty much better off forgotten...

...Really? I agree that for the industry as a whole, they're not bad models by any stretch but compared to literally every other PanO HI model (including derpynamic HMG AG) I can't help but find them severely lacking. To each his own, I guess...
Luckily all they're really good at is being cheap HI so they'll only be taken by those few who really like them (it's not like, for example, the only MSV3 in an army or anything).

The Orcs for the most part I think look fine. The dude could stand maybe an update though. I do think that some of the existing units could stand to have a few more models made so that we could choose from a variety of poses though. The Kamau certainly come to mind for that. Same with the Caledonian Mormaers, the 5th Minutemen, the Foxtrot Rangers, the Azrah 'il, and the Ahl Fassed. They could all use maybe one or two alternate sculpts to fill out their ranks.

Yes I agree with that, I think from what I have read though (or maybe just imagined? ) either the Ruskies or American sectorial for Ariadna will get some attention soon.

If CB sticks to there stated plan, both will be getting a sectional in the next book.

Per the latest statement from Corvus Belli, we can look forward to a minimum of two Sectorials for each faction with "Acheron Falls".

Ariadna are supposed to be getting the Russians and USAriadna.
Nomads are supposed to be getting Tunguska and Black Hand.
Haqqislam are supposed to be getting a pair of sectorials but I cannot remember for the life of me what they are. One is supposed to be something about their supersoldiers but that is all I can immediately think of.
Yu Jing are supposed to be getting the Invincible Army and a Svarlheima sectorial.
PanOceania are supposed to be getting Varuna and Svarlheima sectorials.
Combined Army are supposed to be getting two sectorials but the only one that has been spitballed is one about the EI itself.
ALEPH are supposed to be getting two sectorials; only one that has been more or less confirmed is the 'Vedic' Sectorial which means things like the Devas and Dasyu.
Tohaa are supposed to be getting two sectorials, no clue about them.
Mercenaries are getting two or three sectorials which will actually allow you to legitimately utilize a true 'mercenary' force rather than have to play QK or the hodgepodge list that exists now.

Yes I believe it was said during one of the BoW videos about the Haqqislam super-soldiers, or at least some new releases coming that reflect that element of their character.

I'm painting up a Qapu Khalqi force at the moment actually, sods law dictates that an official mercenary list, with loads of cool stuff in it, will appear the moment it is finished..

You will likely be able to use quite a bit of the QK force as one of the Mercenary 'sectorials' is reputedly going to be Beyhan Resources; meaning Kaplan Tactical Services will get another appearance most likely.

That's really good news on the Mercenary front. I've been wanting to get some of those models and use them for a while but being able to field them as a force of their own will justify the purchase for me.

While I have been hoping for USAriadna, I do love the look of the Russians so far and might just go with them...

Why not just collect a vanilla Ariadna force with as many USAriadnans as possible in it, and use that while you wait for the sectorial to drop

That book would be, when? Next year? both EI and Svarlheima sectorials in one book might bankrupt me

Carlos already confirmed ages ago one of them is Khanate forces - basically a Sectorial around Kum bikers and their support units. I'd guess the second would be Sultinate, basically the basic military encompassing Ghulam, Halqa, Naffatun, etc. Sultinate would be the most likely to include military supersoldiers.

I really don't mind the scale differences. For example - the old Jannisary AP Rifle and HMG compared to the new Jannisary AP Rifle in the starter, the new model is leaner and shorter. When standing next to the older models, in the same paintjobs, it simply looks like the person in the suit is leaner and shorter, while the older models are people who are taller and bulkier.

Humans, as a species, are not the same size.

I actually rather prefer the super-bulky HI models. They stand out more. My old AP Rifle Janissary looks like the ARM4 hulking monstrosity he is. Most of the 'old' look of models is mostly in their oversized weapons.

i have the female Ariadna Para-Commando on my table, right next to the male Ariadna SAS (the first one), and the lady towers over the dude...
she looks like some kind of mythical Amazon warrior woman next the SAS guy...
it seems that they have shifted to a slightly smaller scale over the years...

it's not a deal breaker, to me, since i just paint single minis, but it sure is jarring when i look up and see these two minis next to each other...
i could see how some people would be put off by the older minis, but i still like them as individual sculpts...

That's because the sculptor has a thing for very tall women, nothing out of scale there.

I think where the old sculpts show the worst is probably in the facial sculpts. Older figures with face concealing helmets and masks tend to still look pretty decent (again, like the Kamau). Those faces though, ugh. Some of those older Yu Jing ones just look horrible. The newer faces look so much nicer. I say, if they're to resculpt older figures, do it for the unhelmetted figures first. Otherwise just make me some alternate poses.

With regards to that list of sectorials, that sounds like there will be some pretty neat stuff coming in the future. I'm very curious to see what the USAriadne stuff is going to look like.

Even faces depends on the model. I've got the old Ghulam, and while one has a terrible face, the bearded guy, doctor and female reloading her gun have decent face sculpts. The HMG is serviceable with a good paintjob, and the hacker is, as said, helmeted so doesn't show it.

We can explain away the scale difference of some of the older sculpts, because it's not a huge difference in most cases, but there's no point in denying it exists.

I justify the Spektr I have as a big burly lass that I wouldn't want to meet down a dark alley but I'm not going to cover my ears and go 'lalalalala!' if someone points out she looks a little weird next to the rest of the cell. 'Girl's got flippers on.

I also love the Orc troops… I’ve converted 2 using the same model and that crafty jewelers saw of mine. I really wish they would make the kit for them that allows for parts swaps with the new weapon sizes.
I idea of the Hindu/Persian Side of Aleph is hot to me… Garuda Bot are one of my favorites as with all the other aspects from that side. Asuras, Dasyu even the Tacbots are dope.
Revisted Shang ji with new models also with a little flexibility in the build would be great….

I do have some of the USAriadnans, and I like the look of them.

But I also like the Russians I got so far.

If both of those lists drop at once it will be a tough choice for me.

Kamau and Cutters would be Varuna.

The Croc-Men were a group of 'hardened scouts' from the Paradiso fighting against the Combined Army.

The "Black Hand" are most definitely not a mafia of any way, shape, or form.

The Black Hand are the Nomad intelligence/special operations sections. From what information we have at the moment it is a joint effort by all the Nomad ships, originally founded by the Mexican General at the outset of the Nomad ships declaring their independence.

So there is a possibility of new Kamau then? I really like their concept and the design is pretty cool, but the models that exist are... ehhhh. The dude has those wonky old sculpt proportions with a giant gun and the girl, while she has a great looking sculpt, is in a weird ass pose. I get that she's posed like she's in cover against a wall, but without an actual wall there, she just looks strange.
