Why all the fighting over a rule book in a starter?
First, we don't even know what's going to be in the rule book.
Second, no one does a COMPLETE rule book in their starter. That would mean the game did not advance at all. PP starter books do not have gargantuans, character units, or a lesser warbeasts. GW starter books are missing hundreds o special rules. Starter rules are to get you in the game with the pieces from the starter. If you want to get further in te game, you have to pick up more books.
And let's not complain about Infinity's book prices. Three books total so far. How many to play Watmahordes? Or 40K? And, as states so many times, you don't even need the books because the rules are free. Try that with PP, where you can't even site the rules on their own forums.
Starter set with rule book, 13 metal figs (ill even call them high quality), dice, game mat, and terrain. I think they're doing it right. Price is still manageable (some board game are as pricey). I just wish for different factions, but it's impossible to please everyone.

But, ¿there is no extra figure? I've seen a silhouette in a photo of Bostria at BoW Yeah, the famous "silhouette with briefcase" It's the CSU miniature, EXCLUSIVE FOR PREORDERS.
This CSU miniature is ONLY FOR PRE-ORDERS!
¿Does it mean that if I don't do the pre-order I'll never get this CSU miniature?: Exact.
So, ¿When is the pre-order period? From July 28th to August 31st.
¿Where can I pre-order it?: You can pre-order at our online store or at your FLGS.

I know if I were to just buy the Cosplay Bolt it would come to $37.65 with shipping. Pricey but NeoTerra is on my army list and I would like to have her to add a little character to the unit.

I know what you're saying, and I'm tempted too, but the Bolts already have a lot of variety:
Having said that, I'm having a ninja shopper pick the cosplay Bolt up for me at Gencon if they can - not sure I'd get her otherwise.

Thanks. I'm definitely considering getting this and the scenery is important to me. I loved the terrain GW included with my Mines of Moria and Hobbit starter sets, and the crashed lander in the version of 40k I got. The terrain in the Dropzone Commander starter is pretty nice too (for card terrain).

Well, it's sounding like I won't be able to get the preorder figure if I can only get her by preordering from CB's site. I can only think of ONE game store in Southern California that actually stocks Infinity, and that's a long drive away from me. So, basically the only way I can get the set is through online retailers, but I'd be killed not only with the shipping costs, but the conversion as well if I ordered through CB's store.

Ask somone nicely hear on Dakka to grab you one at GENCON lol cost you about $22 plus what ever it cost to ship to you inside the States, sadly this is your only low cost option outside paying nearly $38 from Spain.
Cosplay Mini! Her head seem large and I noticed she has the same pose as the Missile Launcher Bolt behind her, actually I am 100% positive its the same model minus the head and right arm.

Yeah I am sure you are right, and it makes a lot of sense to do that. Of course, while this news might placate those who question CB "wasting their time" sculpting an exclusive mini for the con I am sure it will bring more people out of the woodwork who want to berate CB for such a "lazy" sculpt.

You just can't win..
No you can't lol there is alot of bitching over the generic and overused poses by the new Morats over in the official forums. I think going forward we will see it alot more with the digital sculpts as they can easily just develop new parts for an existing pose and have a new model.
Think she looks cool, if I had a squad of Bolts would be a nice miniature to use. Especially in a few years time when everyone says "OMG what is that miniature!"

One thing you may have got wrong. The comment, about the pre-order mini "Silhouette with briefcase" is available from FLGS. So, like the Art book, we will be able to pre-order with Wayland, Warstore or whatever and get this miniature.

I am trying to repress squealing like a little girl after seeing the Antipodes! I never understood why the humans had such a hard time taking them out looking at the old models (they look like a bunch of sick dogs). These guys on the other hand are just breath take (metaphorically and I assume literally if you got up close to them). I was wondering if I did Ariadna what sectorial I would choose. I guess I know now...
