Hey my dakka peeps!!! Sorry I been away for awhile had some house issues with my kitchen sink pipe breaking and flooding part of my house!?!? More on this head to my blog http://greydeathone-artofwar.blogspot.com/?m=1 but I manage to get some painting in with warjacks, going to Mr. Justin of Secret Weapon Miniatures weathering class and joining a local paint group.

So I been trying to get caught up on dakka threads and getting back to normal after spending over a week in a hotel while the contractors fix my house.
So here are a few pics of what has been going on with me and let me know what you guys think of my new logo/avatar?

Gits thanks brother glad you like it thought some of my 40k friends here would rake me over the coals for painting WM jacks . Yea I too love my new avatar/logo, my friend does alot of photoshop stuff and asked him to make me a logo with some of my input on the design.

The Avatar is badass man! I absolutely LOVE the shoulder mounted airbrush!!

You won't get any grief from me... I love the look of Warjacks & War Machine in general... just don't have time in my life for a second war game. I did get a box of Cryx Jacks last year at Adepticon that I'm hoarding just in case some day I get the time to do some "frivolous" painting!

Well I thought it will take away from 40k but kinda like the idea to paint and do something different once in a while. You know kinda like eating the same thing everyday.

Well both 40k and WM. It's like in the past I did 40k and Battletech.

Sorry for the late response Hazzer Battletech is a game of large mechs battling it out like 40k. Really fun game but the sculpts need improvement and need to be at par with Heavygear.

Hey GDOne! Got to play a demo game of War Machine yesterday at Adepticon... really neat game! Going to set time aside this "painting season" to break open my Cryx box and paint up the minis. Should be a nice break from all the 40k and give me fun little diversion from time to time.

So I'll be counting on you to provide me with some good inspiration in the nonce!

Ahh Gits I am so jealous of you being at Adepticon!! Ahhh Cryx you gotta love the sculpts on the Privateer Press stuff it kinda reminds me when GW/Citadel use to make back in the day. Now they make cookie cutter miniatures with bells and whistles Well I still love GW even though they do crazy stuff.

@NF09 Here is what I been working on I took a break from my 40k models for now and been working on my Warmachine battlegroup. I am sticking to a basic table top painting level to get these guys on the board soon and spent a little more time on the Warcaster (of course I could'nt do a basic job on them )

I also got my lightbox yesterday from Amazon for 30 bucks what a deal!! I took some sample picks to test it out let me know what you guys think.
I am also working on a Khador warcaster for Fasteddie since he is building my ork deffdred that I will be painting to test out some new techniques I've learn and want to apply it on it. So stay tune. So here is some pics and nuff talk

Beautiful miniatures! I love the terminator. The black eye piece almost makes him look like he has an eye patch.

By the way, is your light box this one?

I had that lightbox! Gave me a lot of good service, then I passed it on to Solar_lion because I get tired of looking at his crappy pics! Love the work on Marcus (excellent OSL) and the warcaster. His head looks so tiny in all that shoulder armor!

Pics look pretty good GD1. One two that are a bit off are the first two of the WM guy...that one looks a bit over exposed with quite a bit of washed out areas.

Hey Eggroll, yea figured out I had the box upside down well chinese knock offs dont come with directions. I had to go back to the Amazon site and see how it was set up Then when I fixed it as you can see the termies and Vladimir came out nice.

Ok I'm back and I did complete a Ork Deff Dred with some oil paint weathering before 6th Ed came out and now posting it now and also completed a commision of a Malfaux models.

Thanks Gitz' yea been getting back into the flow of things and with commissions and now my Dark Vengeance box set I got quite a bit to keep me busy.

Well guys I got distraced away from my DA models and I had to add another model that will go up for sale at my local game shop's Flea Market next Saturday and its the Necron Spyder. This model looks awsome compaired to the metal turd they had. Let me know what you guys think of this WIP so far?

Excellent work on the OSL and the black and green on the wing plates is super sharp and clean. Looking very good!

Thanks guys this was a quick project and going to sell it at my local game store Game Kastle during thier monthly Flea Market.
