Im soon to be stationed at okinawa, japan and I'm wondering if theres any local gaming there for games workshop or anything of that nature. Any info would be sweet, thanks.

Dunno but from what I hear most of the action will be on base with other service/DoD Folks. 40k is smaller in Japan than the US/UK with shops only in Tokyo, Osaka and other big cities. Okinawa is probably too small and remote.

But hey have a great time and enjoy it, I hear Okinawa is gorgeous.

Yep, Shilling Center on Kadena, its across the street from the movie theater. Do they still play sundays as well?

I know this is a tabletop forum, and I might not be welcome here, but I was wondering if any of you play WH40K Spacemarine on PS3? I love WH40K, but I am an artistic idiot and have a family and one of those MOSs that consumes almost all of my free time, so I haven't really been able to get into the tabletop. I am sick of Mediati being slow, not connecting and generally sucking b@))s when I go online. If any of you are up for it, maybe some we could get some private matches going?

I was at Kadena I know they have a strong 40K club Started by Rob and Todd over at the Schillings Center. It's usuallu every saterday form morning till close

i'm a marine on hanson and was going to have my army shiped over is there a bus or sumthing from hanson or futinama ?

There is/was a bus system between marine bases when I lived there a few years back. However, I don't think it went to Kadena. I would look into it.

It does not. take the bus to Foster and catch a cab to Kedina.

Did you just get your orders to go there also? I was hoping there was a some Warmachine/Hordes players there.

I am leaving soon myself. I believe a couple of the guys at the club might play Warmachine/Hordes, I personally do not.

i play Hordes fantasy and 40k and live on Kadena.

As others have said previously, the main group of players gets together Saturdays at the Shilling Center on Kadena. I just started getting into tabletops recently but I've got both 40k and Warmachine, and I'm always looking to play a fun game with good looking minis. There are some board games that go on as well, if you're into those.
