IT LIVES!

Great work on those new marines, the shade of blue looks great. Distinctly not Ultramarines and nice and varied with the highlighting.

Cheers guys! You all make me blush.

I'll arrange some compairison-shots for size after the holidays are done, I'm visiting parents and things so I am about 250km away from home.

The blue acctually has a slightly greenish tint wich didn't carry on to the photos very well, it became more of a pure teal shade.. anyway. I'll get my hands on some masking tape and then it's time to paint some vehicles.

I have a little hobby-thread going in the P&M section. Some say it's the best blog on Dakka, some don't agree, most belive it would be better if I finished at least one project some time this century and not just kept starting new ones.

STC you continue to amaze! genuinely amaze! So glad you have started posting again, that shade of blue looks very unique, especially on marines, on to a winner methinks.

Flattery will get you everywhere guys!

I am really pleased that you enjoy my work though, so what do you want to see as the first proper tank to be painted. Rhino, Vindicator or Land Raider?

All three are built, primed and ready to go.

The little details make it stand out from the standard bolter and look totally bad-ass!

The added butt-stock on is awesome. Did that come off of a plasma gun or somewhere else?

The boltgun is a Tigrus pattern boltgun from forgeworld with a scope from the tactical marines kit, the stock is from a plasmagun and a thin pice of plastic rod.

Alpharius; Always a sucker for the big guns I see. I do have a shadowsword waiting in the wings but I want to cut my teeth on something smaller before I give the big guy a go.

Looking forward to seeing your vehicle work!

I've always been a fan of the Stormblade - second best looking Super-Heavy out there.

And since you were about to ask - the best one is, of course, the Stormhammer!

Putting in my vote for the Land Raider too. I eagerly await progress. And I agree with Alpharius, Stormblades are awesome tanks.

On a scale of 1-10 how loyal are

11!

They are Bwo Ha Ha!-Marines.

... and none of the above.

There is no scale of alignment. Loyalty , as a concept, lies within the eye of the beholder and the intentions of the acting party.

And loyal to who? The Adeptus Terra? The Senatorium Imperialis? To the concept and principles of the Imperium? To the Emperor? To mankind as a species? ... perhaps all.. or none.

"-Sometimes, the only victory possible is to deny the victory of your enemy." - the Emperor, circa M31.

I guess I could, the problem is that I have no idea how to make stuff like that, making moulds and working withliquid resin and stuff.

Quite outside my area of expertise I am afraid.

For something simple like that i can strongly recommend insta-mould, easy to work with and doesnt require any expensive set up, can either use green stuff or liquid resin, both are surprisingly easy to get acceptable results with!
