What anime has made you cry like a little girl?
Me, Angel Beats, Code Geass, Death Note(Some parts, like his "Girlfriend" being manipulated)
And my goodness. quite a bit.
One part in Gundam 00 made me really sad (during second season). Code Geass almost made me cry even though I already knew how it ended. TTGL actually drove me to a slight depression because of the ending. lol

Angel beats, Clannad.
Yup, after story was sad, However, Anohana was the sadist thing I have ever watched. It was probably made to make people cry. Even things that don't seem really that sad out of context bring anyone to tears while watching that.
so i just found myself watching the first episode if ixion saga dt...and i've not laughed that much in a while
the maid is a tranny and a badguy got slammed with a boot that would do Kiss or Gwar proud right in the junk while trying to say the name of his ultimate attack
Watch episode 1 at least for the biggest twist on a final boss I've ever seen ^^;
Watched episode one, liked it. It's also on the anime site I use to watch shows at work so ill probably watch it all if the rest is as good.
Man they really fly thru time in this show eh? Seven episodes and what, two years have passed in the show? More? I'm not actually sure. Also apparently no one has names, just titles/job descriptions. Still a good show though.
The centre of a massive brood chamber, heaving and pulsating.
Well, I watched the first 2 Rebuild of Evangelion movies. I still need to watch 3.0: You Can (Not) Redo. I actually really like the approach they took with it. The CGI is really effective and well done, and doesn't stick out too much. I don't know whether I prefer the new characterizations though. I kinda liked the original, completely mentally broken Shinji.
Also, I've watched up to 19 of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann...
Spoiler:
Rossiu, you bastard! Damn, the change in tone really hurt. Poor Nia...
I hope it still ends well...
And watched some more Cardcaptor Sakura. Ah, sweet nostalgia!

Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Ain’t that sad
Ain’t it shame, too bad

Thanks to this video, I now suspect Anno may have been a queen fan
That brought my favorite trauma back in a hurry!
Wow. That was the best AMV I have ever seen. A fitting song to go with one of the greatest animes of all time (my opinion, don't shoot me Red Comet).
I'm gonna have to rewatch the series now. Thanks a bundle. PTSD, here I come.

I have some friends at college who are absolutely mad on Dragonball.
For the life of me I have no idea why. It looks like the biggest load of repetitive crap I have ever seen.
One of them did suggest Ouran High School Host Club, though, which does look worth a watch.

3.0 is good in my humble opinion but I felt it was a bit weaker than the last two, but it takes a much darker turn than the Original series a bit. Spoilers for what it is about.
Spoiler:
The Zerule battle starts a psuedo-third impact as Shinji tries to save Rei as you see at the end of 2.22, killing about 95% of the human population and they are pissed at him for that reason and they retrieve Shinji in about a 14-year timeskip, and he becomes much more broken down.
And Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is a good anime.too.

It's excellent. Definitely not for the squeamish, however.
I only read the manga for mirai nikki and got up to the part with the double team group of lovers that was one 'future diary' holder (posing as minions of another) ended up putting one of them in the hospital. I basically got up to the part with the cosplaying maid turned into cosplaying eye-patch spy woman. She's so hot. Too bad about what i hear happens later. Yuno seems to have become a ridiculously popular character though. I guess she's like the ultimate yandere ever or something.
Other than that i have read bits and pieces of the manga 'freezing'. What saddens me is that even though it is ecchi in some parts and some of the fan service is pretty blatant it went the route of turning into an anime which downplays the story and turns infinitely more into an ecchi (basically takes blatant ecchi and fan-service up to 10). If you're in it for story i don't think the anime is the way to go though i prefer animated to pictures in a panel. I can't say for certain how good the story is but some story pieces i have read sounded fairly deep. I may even say it has some elements of evangelion in it or at least a similar feel (hopefully not too much of a rip-off). The characters are also pretty damaged through events in their lives that's for sure. As for the female characters hot d*mn do they know hot to draw women. Sure in quite a few cases (not all) boobs are big but the insane level of beauty in some of these girls is pretty ridiculous (they generally come from well to do families though with power).
