There was another "geass" animu anounced a while back, saw a trailer then quickly went quiet.
Also, for those that have watched both seasons...
Spoiler:
Does anyone actually lend credence to the theory of Lelouch being alive? It seems farfetched, but a friend of mine thought I was insane for not even considering it...any thoughts?
Spoiler:
Well, it is quite plausible. Remember, the emperor was "immortal" as well, it took until Lelouche trapped him in C's world by making the sword of akasha backfiring on him to actually kill him. I would imagine it's a holdover from the geass power bestowed on him. Remember, C.C. is immortal because of a much, much stronger power. It's not unlikely that the minor power she bestows contains it. I also would imagine Lelouche have plans for this eventuality and probably had his body quickly swept away so nobody could see him be revived. I think it's mostly a speculation, because I don't expect to find out one way or another but it's quite interesting to think about.

I suppose I felt that it took away a bit from Lelouch's final sacrifice. However, giving it a bit of further thought, immortality seems like it could be an interesting form of self punishment - especially given that I don't entirely think he's made proper peace with some of the things he did throughout the course of the anime, and that his death was supposed to sever him from that...in my eyes, at least.
Although as a side point, I cannot believe I missed the fact that he clearly killed Charles, and that this should by rights pass the code to him...although I wonder if the way he did things was technically killing? He seems to have more wiped them from existence, or something like that haha.
Aside from that, any overall thoughts on the anime, and favourite characters etc? I'll go the typical fanboy route and say Lelouch qualified as mine, dude was just awesome in his ruthlessness. The anime itself managed to get to me emotionally a couple of times, although I'm still uncertain as to my feelings on the start of the second season.
I've always thought that Anya was cute, and I thought Kaguya and Tamiki were funny but my favorite character would have to be Lelouch. Nobody can match the man at his own game!
I'm all caught up on AOT, episode 5 is the latest ya? Pretty good show so far, though it is really really gritty and dark.
I think the writers have been telling the story in a really neat way so far

Graaagghh!!! I was all excited for this episode after last week, titans were attacking again, our cast graduated as awesome elite soldiers, it was set up for some serious arse wooping! We got a taste of it with the main guy going after the behemoth, though it predictably disappeared befor he would finish it. Then it was a lot of talk about how we should go defend ourselves now that kind of drug on. Then finally, all psyched up and ready to go lay the smack down, and promptly got their own arses handed to them. I mean I wasn't even a fight, just a random slaughter. And are they pulling a "Kamina" on us?

Ya, just finished ep5 as well.
Spoiler:
I was pumped for a fight as well. Then you see the main person get swallowed after losing an arm and leg. That was just crazy, I've never seen anything happen like that in a show.

I hope so, EP5 was disappointing to say the least.
Gargantia on the other hand continues to provide solid episode after solid episode, even the "sorta" filler provides some character development.
Also started watching Myself, Yourself, which is refreshingly honest, minutes in to episode one they had the main character a card that says he's cursed to have problems with women. If that's not a plot synopsis in a sentence I don't know what is.
I beg of you sarge let me lead the charge when the battle lines are drawn
Lemme at least leave a good hoof beat they'll remember loud and long
IDK about Gargantia. I like it, but when the obligatory beach episode appears five episodes in I become wary
Spoiler:
EDIT: Imo, Attack of Titan Episode 5 lost some of the impact of the events as depicted in the manga as the manga showed that scene MUCH more brutally. It was twisted but it really sets up the tone for the rest of the series in many ways. The anime made the scene much less impactful imo and it made the ending of the episode a little duller than it could have been.

Actually, if you looked at the preview for next episode, I think one of those defining moments still has to happen, the girl trying to revive someone. I think most the impact is lost due to how fast it happens in the anime, in the manga you would probably staring at a page for a minute just to let that stuff sink in. I just hope the "special" thing that's about to happen will be in the next episode.
I mean the part where some of the characters get eaten. The girl is what stands out in my mind. In the manga, she opens her eyes and sees that Titan looking right at her. Then while she's being eaten you see her hands pressed to its cheeks trying to pull her head from its mouth.
The whole scene in the manga delivers the message of helplessness much more powerfully. Then Eren gets eaten and it's like "Holy gak!" The whole thing is just this giant slap in the face that in the anime just doesn't feel as powerful because the scene is watered down.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines
Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

I liked Korra but did not care for the very ending. Felt very Dues Ex Machina to me. Overcoming the aftermath and removal of powers would have made for a nice season two hook I think. The last minute "you had the power to fix it inside you all along!" and BAM everything is fine was a little of a let down.

Yeah, although the explanation is that they weren't sure how well the series would do, so they did need to finish the story in case it didn't warrant a sequel. Although they could have put a couple more episodes in for completeness. Have her stumble through a couple episodes with just air bending, gradually regain confidence before being healed.
