Just finished watching Danganronpa episode 7. So far it's following pretty closely to the game, which I like. I wish they would expand more on the free time events and investigations but I suppose there's only so much content you can jam into a 12 episode anime.

+1, I like it. He separated gravity compartments in orbit around the Earth while secured on the ground. Plus, he had a sniper gun-like scope in the cockpit of the gundam to use the sniper rifle.

Watched the episode and went "Damn, that guy on Dakka was right.". Besides the obligatory vicious killings, it was a slightly disappointing episode especially with the build up it got.

It's mostly how the entire series has gone. A whole lot of "Hey Guys, This Is Gonna Be Awesome!" followed by "Psych!" Periodically, something awesome Does briefly happen, after several episodes of build up. The show has a great concept that keeps me watching it, but a horrible pacing and a means of trying to mess with your hopes and emotions that has gotten quite predictable at this point. I mean how many great inspiring "We Can Do This!" moments are Immediately followed by soul crushing defeats? It's gotten quite cliche.

I see your Lockon Startos and raise you one Heero Yuy. 99.99% accuracy, while using the basic aimming device of a incredabily damaged gundam, no sniper module required.

Yeah, I am going to have to agree with you in this. They should give us something at this point. All we've had is a 3 episode lead-up to Erin carrying the giant rock for 5 minutes and Erin "coming back to life" to rampage on some titans.

So. Watching the finale of Oreimo 2 finally. Ever know something is going to happen, or a plot is going somewhere and it's going to basically spit on something you previously enjoyed, even if that was the original intent of the Author/Creative team all a long? Yeah. That's how I feel about the ending.

Spoiler:
It was the bro/sis relationship wasn't it.

I really enjoyed the show (can't wait to see those last episodes) and that aspect of the story didn't bother me really. What annoyed me was the story "going there" and then getting cold feet in the end. If you are going to go there then see it through to the end because the way the ending goes down is a and for Kyousuke.

But yeah it's more or less pulling out at the end that really pissed me off. The siscon stuff's kinda icky, but if you're gonna go. GO ALL THE WAY LIKE A GODDAMN MAN/WOMAN/UNSPECIFIED GENDER

Fixed it to hide potential spoilers. I didn't even notice the spoiler option.

Spoiler:
I read the LN so this will be the 2nd time going through this. It's still not cool. Great, entertaining series, but it leaves you face-palming. I mean why did Kyousuke turn down all those chicks, confess and get engaged, just to end it anyway.

Gaaaaah.

Spoiler:
I know right!? Fethhead. Break a ton of hearts, make a complete ass of yourself, do irreparable damage to your relationship with your childhood friend and wind up with... nothing? Maybe Kuroneko or Ayase will let his useless ass crawl back but ultimately everyone loses here. gak. Now that I think about it, that entire fight with Manami? It totally loses it's impact and even it's MEANING now. The hell is the point to coming to blows with someone you've known since childhood and making all those tough sounding statements when you're ending it later in the day? That's ludicrous! I am disappointed on just about every conceivable level with this ending. I was hoping to avoid the sister ending but considering the title figured "well at least the show's good enough they can pull it off with some style" but this? A complete cop out with all the story's fangs pulled and any and all growth and progress for the characters nullified? That's just terrible. In every sense of the term as it applies to the construction of fiction.

It's got some good action, but most of the humor is pretty forced and you can figure out what's going to happen about 5-10 minutes before it actually goes down.

Like I said I read the LN, so I have been waiting over a month to vent to someone about this.

Spoiler:
The best irony is when Kyousuke mentions all the women who are attracting around him and how it will probably never happen again. Then he ends up with.......no one. I get what your saying. Everything Kyousuke says to Manami loses impact when you consider they end the relationship shortly after. I really liked Oreimo, but I end up needing to ignore that cop out ending just so that it isn't soured.
