In other news. Kill La Kill: I'll just say that anime went super saiyan for me last night. Hel's heels! That was a new level of awesome.

The series has been extremely predictable so far and is still very deep in Guren's shadow for me.

See, I prefer KLK to Gurren Lagen, I think it's the characters - I only really liked Kamina as a character in GL, while I like all the protagonists (and villains) in KLK.

Kill la Kill is more over the top in action sequences and the fight coriagraphy but Gurren Lagann feel far more epic in scope and poise. GL's over arcing story isn't as good as KLK's has been, but it's individual scenes feel more powerful in my opinion.

Yeah Gurren Lagann is awesome and I like it a lot, but I'm enjoying KLK even more. Much, much more, I can't even compare the two.
Being a fan of Gurren Lagann as well, Imaishi managed to outdo both that and Panty and stocking with Kill La Kill. Sure not as over the top as the other two, but the characters have a lot a depth in Kill La Kill compared to the other two. Well at least my opinion on it.

The story of the OVA focuses on the battle against Anzio Girls High School, the second opponent of Oarai Girls High School during the National Sensha-Dou tournament, which was mostly skipped in the TV anime.
