That musket pulling trick invites way too many jokes. Just how I like it.
Those are too easy

I've picked up Chihaya Furu and made it through the first season so far. I'm kind of stuck on anything to say about it other than it's very engaging. It does a great job of making a very obscure, very niche subject immediately accessible. I definitely rides on the strength of the characters, the portrayals feel honest, treats them with respect and gives them some real growth.
I also blazed through Natsuyuki Rendezvous in basically one sitting, as it's very short. It had a cool premise and was refreshingly direct. However the whole thing dragged because I found the male lead to be somewhere between dull and annoying. It's a pretty small investment so I'd say give it a shot if the summary sounds at all interesting.
EDIT:
I also watched Say I love you I guess. I was enjoyable at the time, but utterly forgettable. I've been done with it for all of 3 days and I don't think I could actually name any of the characters. There was.. frumpy main character girl, hot guy who just kind of falls for her, 2-seconds plot point other couple, angry hot chick, a lost kitten! It's an inoffensive time-filler if you're into that sort of thing. It did an adequate job of holding my attention when the only alternative was staring at wall or wandering outside.

Also got caught up to Sailor Moon Crystal- I'm not incredibly impressed, but not really disappointed either. It's... good. I think if it didn't have the Sailor Moon marketing juggernaut and sheer consequence that name gives it as the preeminent Magical Girl anime, I don't think it would have been as successful- the animation is high quality, but there's so many classic Anime shortcuts being taken it's more like watching an animated photo album or a series of .gifs than a show itself. Still, something to have on the other screen when I'm playing Minecraft, I suppose, and it fits with the fanfictions I've been reading.

Started on Trinity Blood, which is a bit of a switch from Amagai Brilliant park, but I like the mash-up of settings - it's like they took Hellsing and Trigun and smashed them together. Thinking about it, the main character is basically Alucard with Vash the stampede's goofy façade - good fun
Am I the only one who didn't know Tetra was a guy? The two of them made that sound like it was supposed to be obvious, but then at least one other didn't know...

I only knew because I spoilered myself some weeks ago as I, for some random reason, read about her in the LH wiki. I don't think the viewers would easily find out.

That explains this morning. I generally watch my shows during my morning cardio at the gym and it totally threw me off, I got in like maybe half my usual exercise. Hopefully things get back to normal soon.

I watched a bunch of episodes, and concur with your assessment; very soothing. My problem with it was the lack of a “hook” I enjoyed the ones I watched, but after a while they sorta blended together, same basic structure to almost every episode. So I stopped watching.
Oh yeah. I gotta catch up to Chiaka. I kinda wish there was a little more world building in that anime, though- uh, sorta.
Like, I like how much history is affecting everyone, and there's this great mystery that's going on- but I'd love to know more about the magitech that they're showing- more varieties or uses of it- why can only a magic user drive the vehicles, etc., or is 'magic' just technology of a certain advancement?

I mean, I love the idea of magical spell-slinging .50 caliber rifles as much as the next Larry Correia fan, but I can't help but think about it more than I probably should.

I agree. It's not something that you would get up early to see the next episode or something, but I love to go back to it every once and a while. It's stories are interesting, lots of Japanese folklore, and I can be watched pretty much from anywhere. It's my sleepy show.

Pretty much where I'm at with it. Watched it for awhile, and while it's not bad, it just kind of got same-y and boring.

You'll discover near the end what else is powered by magic and OOOH BOY, is it cool looking.
Oh, and just because this is one of my favorite GIFs ever Dark Souls FTW! xD The final 2 episodes are a veritable menagerie of cool moments, fights and one or two plot twists for good measure. Really made up for some of the bad episodes.
Spoiler:
And the Blue Chaika was sexy as hell.

See Chaika the Coffin Princess was pretty good and I really anticipated the second season.
The second season, Avenging battle, was great right up until the last few episodes. They should have had more episodes planned to have some for of satisfying ending.

I'll be damned, I completely forgot about Chaika's 2nd Season. I was away from most of it this season, so this is yet another I have to watch. Thanks for the heads up!
10 episodes and an OVA (still unreleased), should be pretty fast. Then I have Gundam Build Fighters to watch... the first season was so good, I hope the 2nd stayed the same.
P.S: HAPPY NEW YEAR

I finally had the time to sit down and watch all of Psycho Pass 2. Why only 11 episodes? :(((((((( Not as good as season 1, but still my favorite anime to premier this season. I can't wait for the movie to come out!
