No progress probably until Friday .. Where I'll JB weld the arms and gun mounts next. Haven't determined if I'll Magnetize the Head or just glue it on.

I'm thinking about getting a few more weapons for it, namely a Melta cannon, another Turbo laser and the Warhound turbo laser as a alt. carapace weapon instead of the Missile launcher.

Thanks everyone. I have 4 days off including the weekend, so I'm hoping to get some major assembly done and some actual camera pictures.

I will then move to mass assembly of my friends World Eaters. so far I'm waiting for my Spartan tank and additional Jetbike, but I have about 70 inf. 10 Terminators, 3 dreads, 2 Landraiders, 1 Spartan tank, 3 Jet bikes and a landspeeder all to finish by Adepticon. ( probably missed something)

oh, and I got to assemble my Marine terrain from Death Ray designs.

Sounds like you need a minion or two to me

Rent Git's kids for a weekend, you'll be done in no time.

The boys will be available for two weeks while they're on winter break. They're both asking me for projects, unfortunately all of my terrain pieces are built... so they're available as slave labor for the right bidder.

Actually, come to think of it I think Thing 1 will be occupied. Last Adepticon I bought a huge laser-cut set-up for something like a space hulk game. We'd planned on using it more for the other game who's name I can't remember at the moment (something zone?) that can take place under similar circumstances. Recently however we've thought (with all the SM buildings) that it would be cool to "mirror" the table with a bunch of underground structures and tunnels, effectively creating a two-level table for our battles.

While you couldn't really do this in a normal time limit... at home our games go on for days as we just play when we have the time, which would lend itself very easily to utilizing both above ground and under ground battle spaces. So I think his plan for vacation is to work on more of these rooms and tunnels so we can try our master plan out.

Zone Mortalis is the thing you are thinking of.

Thanks everyone. I'm very pleased how it's turned out.

I'll be planning to use it at Adepticon. I've ordered another Laser Blaster ( 3 barrel gun) for the other arm as well as a Warhound version (turbo Laser) for an additional carapace mounted weapon. After all I'm hunting Eldar Titans. I will have to come up with a way to make the carapace weapon mount interchangeable.

Thanks, I've still got a lot of small stuff do do , but hopefully the overall majority of the build and paint will happen this weekend.

Thanks Egg. I thought the overall build went faster than I anticipated. It's one of those projects that you can spend an enormous amount of time painting all the details if you are driven. Stay tuned to Nerds blog when he tackles Gits Reaver. Should be awesome.

Thanks for commenting Alaricuk, It a scheme for the Titan legion that participated in the Badab War. Which also has connections to Ryza for which my Mechanium army is based. Win win.
