I'll make a few casts of this group, but I'm thinking the mold will be chopped up soon and used for fill material.

But I like the idea of objective markers! Like an old rusted cache of weapons! Thanks Galorn!

Real shame about the weapons. I mean, damn. The worst Finecast cast came out better than those. My condolences.

Still, good luck in future!

Currently waiting on more Mold making material.

Sorry for the wait.

Life has been taking up a disproportionate amount of my time.

I am working on my projects though!

Tell me about. I haven't been able to paint since before Thanksgiving, and I wasn't really painting all that much then due to general laziness.

We'll still be here when you have the time to come back. I know what drain RL can be. When I first got back into modeling I traded in my video game, tv, and internet time for hobby time instead. Now much of my hobby time has become '3rd Party Management' time and I've become quite annoyed with it.

I know what you guys mean about being frustrated. That was me for years and years, the ex-wife would actually get mad at me for enjoying myself with the hobby, so she'd find new and ever-wasteful, pointless, and annoying things for me to do so I would be good and miserable all the damn time. This repeated with my failed relationship attempts even after the divorce, until I finally decided that this is what makes me happy, it's what I want to do with my free time. You guys with kids are in a different situation, but you can only give so much before the people you love need to realize that this is who you are and what you need for your own mental health and make an effort to accommodate that for YOU. of course, some life things are unavoidable and YMMV, but it was a real turning point in my life anyways, for what it's worth

Wow. I read that and was thinking "Did I write that?"

My ex was the same way. She started out loving my painting, and even set it up to take pictures of it, but then when we started having problems, she started blaming everything but the real reasons. Chief among them, my mother (who I barely saw) and my painting. If I went once a month to a hobby store to play, that was too much. I regret that now because now we don't have a place to play here. Or we might, we have one small place that just recently started up. I need to check them out.

But she would constantly try to find chores I "had" to do to keep my from painting. It's part of why I only have 24 or so IG models painted. Of course, now I have the option to paint them much better than I coudl have then.

If you go to my thread, linked in my sig, you can see the pics she took, which look like their an actual planetscape or scomething. (plug, plug) I need some new content there soon.

Thanks for trying to keep me going LDD! I do have the mold material now, I just need to find time to make them.

The family is doing great. The wife got a job, and we are finally settling down after the move. Now, however, we are looking for a house in this area so we can get out of this freaking appartment! Something with a workspace for me of course.

Also when I got the Rifles re-printed, I had TWO copies made. Just in case.

Hey guys! I know I have been silent for FAR too long. Sorry about that. Yes, life has gotten in my way, but so has actual gaming. I have a buddy here who I knew from the first time I lived here, he plays, so we get together fairly often. Also there is a great gaming community here and a great local gaming store. If I didn't have a job and a family, I'm sure I would live there.

I have done loads of stuff in my absence. Just not a whole lot has been done with my commissions, and to tell the truth, I'm ashamed it is taking me so long to get them done. So, to some-what save face, I will not post my army pictures until I have made more progress with the My Little Commisar, and the other commissions. I AM working on them, but they are going far too slow for my liking. Also, I haven't been making many molds...well, to tell the truth, the few I have done lately have not turned out well. I've posted some, but not all on here. So I am kind of scared to make more, but I will, just scared is all.

Also, to throw another wrench in the system....we are moving again! Out of this apartment, and into a house....hopefully. I thought we had one picked out, but we just found one that we like better, we are just trying to see if it's available.

So many things going on. I wish I could take a stay-cation and get some things done.

As a teaser, I should have some pics of the MLC soon, the head is done, just need to flesh out her body.

Until Next time, RS Jake

Glad to hear you're still with us, have fun playing and getting some hobby stuff done - so not a complete hobby burnout.

I definately look forward to updates, but get the house, settle in, and then set the priority to you commissions and go full throttle

So you've taken up serial killing as a hobby also?

Glad to see you might be back around again soon, and I'm wicked happy for you that there is a decent gaming community.
