good looking second ugly there^^...

by the way jake... are these z´s meant to be looking like all pupose z´s... no particular time frame like it could be used for fantasy and scifi?... atm i am thinking they look just like that... which would be indeed a stroke of genius ...of course... we are not really expecting any less from you

These Zombies are a bit on the tall and thin side. And yes Vik, General Purpose Zombies, They could probably be painted to look like they have tattered Old World (Fantasy) clothes, or street clothes or Military Fatigues.

I think I will have most of mine painted like former military. And maybe add a tattered Commissar's hat to the Champion.

Zombie! With Arms!

Before you say anything, I know the hands are freakishly big. I will fix them, or re-do them. Just wanted to show what he looked like with arms.

The zombie actually looks like a zombie which is a novelty these days, the stance is great and love the fact that you have done partially skinned and skull face.

Yes the hands do look a little large to be honest but you could say he is wearing work gloves
The spawn is interesting I like the head section, I am wondering how you are going to match it into the body though.

Thanks guys!

I'm really not happy with the hands, I'm going to work on them. As for the spawn, I was thinking of going for a body that is mostly skinless muscle, and have some skin still attached, but falling off. Like when he turned into a spawn, he out-grew his skin, like some werewolves do. And I think adding some smaller mouths here and there. I don't think this one will have a bunch of arms and tentacles like the others. Maybe some spikes down it's back.

The zombie is amazing, hands a little too big, but it fits with GW-style, the spawn is..disturbing..very..disturbing.

That's some serious sculpting skills you have there! Those chaos spawn are perfect in that they don't scream any particular cult to me. As for the zombie, you know what they say about big hands.

Yep. Big gloves.
And thanks! I will most likely run them as mark of muscle, but I want the option of running them with my Horne lord on juggernought. Which reminds me...I need to post pics of him too!

Thanks Vik!

Here is that Khorne Lord I was talking about. Used the old Doom Rider model, converted him to Khorne, and gave him a rediculously large Flamer! Muahahaha! Then mounted him on an Old School Juggernought. They're kind of goofy, but I think it works.

I broke out the airbrush today and gave that jugger a coat of bronze, and I also painted up my Heldrake.
My question is, what should I do now? I am torn between painting the small panels black and highlighting the bronze and be done with it, or keeping it mostly Bronze, and outlining the panels with a tourquouse-like "tarnished" color, and maybe even make that look like it's glowing under the ridges. The seond one sounds like much more work, but cooler. Any thoughts?

Thanks for stopping by,
RSJake

hmmm... i think the juggernaut needs some additional sculting and raising to be taken seriously... atm it looks as if he is sitting on a plated dachshound of doom...

and ...well.. i think you will have plenty of fun with that heldrake...sounds lieka cool scheme!!!
